The property is very clean. More than ample parking, camping, and leisure space. Sheltered areas are available if you reserve in advance, with picnic tables. Barbecue grills are strategically placed throughout . This facility also has a nice small water park area and pool great place to come and relax or to host a event.

I brought my kids in August as its close to our home and the price is reasonable for the day. However the activities for the in between ages isn't the best. My kids always wanted to be in different places at the same time but not old enough to do it alone. If something could be added for those age groups it would be amazing. All in all great place

Went on a Tuesday last week and had a great time from nearby bowmanville, had a great time! The poutine was awesome! We’ll be back for sure.

...but my family and I won't be back.
Caters to day visitors but seems to have no cap on number of people allowed in...pools, splashpad and picnic areas were overflowing on the Sunday. Also, when pools close at 7pm the day visitors don't leave until 8 or 9pm! So calm quiet campfires are non-existent.
Monday morning wasn't bad for first hour, then crowds started again, and no one had cleared all the garbage lying around from Sunday.

We cancelled the rest of our trip here because although there are camp sites, this place isn't for campers. I don't know what rules are in place for overcrowding in a place like this, but I'd be surprised if they met the regulations!

Great park for kids. Pool is the biggest I've seen in a RV Park. Water slides are great. There are some rules but overall a great laid back attitude, kids working here are really great. Only negatives are that it gets really busy with daycamps during the day, the tennis court is beyond horrible and the mini golf a little dated. Overall a great experience.

Living just a few minutes away I should really bring my kids here more often. They had a blast eventhough it was raining off and on. There was enough shade/cover for me to stay dry when raining and out of the direct sun when it did come out, but still close enough to keep an eye on my kids.
We bought pizza and poutine from the snack bar and loved it.
Lifeguards were really attentive, I was definitely relaxed knowing they were also looking out for the kids.

For THREE years in a row the lifeguards have failed to give my daughter a wristband to use the diving board even after successfully swimming the required two widths. Their reason ... she didn't lift her arms high enough out of the water while swimming.
It's completely absurd!
She successfully passed the swim test and was given her swim pass at the age of FIVE at each of the Whitby, Ajax and Pickering municipal pools!!
She is now 8 and once again at our recent visit they failed her. Needless to say that was our last visit EVER to Cedar Park.
There is nothing worse than a bunch of bored improperly trained teenagers breaking the spirit of a child who successfully completes the required test but is still failed.

We have visited this park many times with our 3 boys. Thr kids always look forward to it and enjoy their day. They have affectionately come to call it the "big bucket," because if the big bucket in the splash pad area. Picnic areas available, washrooms, huge dry park and camping sites. Only downside is the additional charge for riding the large water slides.

This is a tucked away little camping, picnic type venue, that seems to be quite the draw for locals on weekends. With their play areas for the toddlers, splash park, pools and some waterslides there is enough to keep most everyone in the family occupied for the day. They have lots of room for picnics or get togethers, including several shelters in case you have to get out of the rain. A little pricey as you must pay for entering the park and also if you want to use the water attractions or even the mini-putt. They h ave a canteen on site, but be prepared to pay $4 for a hot dog. Quite the gold mine for the owners.
