Spots are close together, but there are enough shower rooms and bathrooms. There is nothing to do in town unless you want to shop Big Lots and such. Bit relaxing and talking to campers was nice. There were a lot of laundry places to visit. We couldn’t find anything to do on a couple rainy days. So go on in and hunker on down! Take your dogs and enjoy the farm country.

Our first visit here. The park is very clean. The camp sites were close together and sunny for the most part. No trash receptacles in the camping areas. Only at the exit..also the dump station was a little strange. It was in the middle of the road leading out of the campsites. Showers were ok but plan on getting things wet. Very different set up.

The views were beautiful. Drove all through the park and had a picnic. It was so nice being able to sit, eat, and enjoy the beauty. Will be going back.

Narcissists and psychopaths who are without empathy for other people and animals are the type of sub human who think it's perfectly acceptable to place beautiful, different types of Owls in individual 8x8ft cages in the Davy Crockett Park in TN with nothing but a limb to sit on all day and be gawked at by humans and all night for their entire lives with no way to fly, mate or be free. There is truly a special place in hell for the people responsible for that.

We are sorry that you did not have the experience you were hoping for at David Crockett State Park. We would like to explain that all of the birds of prey in our enclosures are non-releasable. They have been imprinted or injured before they found their way into our care and if they were to be released they would not survive. The park historically has been a wildlife rehabilitator and when able has released many injured birds back into the wild. We do appreciate your care and concern for our wildlife, and hope this explanation is helpful.

Beautiful State Park dedicated to none other than Davey Crockett. The park is so vast it takes a few hours to do it all. Some of the attractions were not open when we came through. The museum was closed as well as the restaurant. There is a beautiful waterfall that you can stop and hang out at the river. There’s a beautiful covered bridge, a large lake with boating I believe, wild life and plenty of Mother Nature.

I have not gotten to see all of the park but plan to keep returning till I do. The kids loved it here, we loved the little exercise stops on the trail, but some need repair. Hopefully the state will fix them.

Supercute park. The owl exhibit and museum was a great unexpected surprise. Plenty of picnic tables, pretty area, and family friendly. There was a deer lying next to the pool entrance so peacefully. ( the pool appeared to be closed). Very glad we stopped in to check it out.

We walked down to the creek and watched the kids playing in the water. Restaurant was closed. I guess its still hard to find workers.

This is a beautiful and multi-faceted park on the outskirts of town. It was the site of a mill operation owned by Crockett, although the only history of the site is in a good museum near the falls and a reconstructed water wheel. There are trails and opportunities for water recreation in a lake and on Shoal Creek. The restaurant was a particularly pleasant surprise with a great family-style menu at an affordable price. The swimming pool is closed.
