I was looking for free things to do and this farmers market did not disappoint. There was lots of fresh local produce, food vendors and souvenirs. We even found a French bread.

Drove out there from Ala Moana and the drive took about 20 mins. There are quite a few stalls but many serve food. The one we especially enjoyed is the fried mochi ube balls ...3 for $5. There are many other food stalls that looked delicious but prices are quite high, imho.
We went in February hoping to find some royal crown pineapples but none at all...probably not the season.
There were quite a few stalls selling produce...we bought some fresh turmeric for $4 for a little basket. There were also stall selling honey which I would like to try next time I go.
Great to head out to this market on a Sunday for brunch and at the same time, pick up some fresh produce, fruits, and flowers.

Lots of local produce, value added processed foods, such as mochi donuts, honey, baked goods & jellies. Food trucks with amazing fresh selections. Easy access from TheBus. & ample parking. My grandkids love the coconut butter, reason enough to return.

Unless you have a car on the island of Oahu, you have to rely on public transportation, including the bus, or the hop on hop off trolley. I opted to use the trolley, and I was on the very first run from Waikiki to the farmers market. I was able to get fresh produce for our week of vacation along with some interesting cookies, some unique popcorn, and grab a quick bite of breakfast and an iced coffee. There seem to be more prepared food versus produce at this particular market. I did have to wait for a second trolley due to demand and the 10 am was full. This is more a situation with the trolleys for this is the actual farmers market. I would recommend this for any travelers to be able to support the local, farmers and artisans.

Lovely way to spend a sunny Saturday morning. Worth the Uber ride to get there. Wished I could have brought the lovely fresh flowers; had to settle for photos. Brought fresh Mangosteen, Rambutan, lychees and Mango; not cheap but a nice treat since its many years since we've had these. Don't have breakfast before you go, there's loads of fresh and healthy options to choose from.

Great farmers market. Big enough to have lots of food choices, but small enough to walk around it within an hour or so. A lot of free parking but it still does get crowded. A live singer/guitarist was playing the entire time we were there.
Loved the Kukui Sausage tent - home of the King Kong hot dog. Lots of other great choices for poke, burgers and lots of coffee, juice, and smoothie stands. The produce was expensive for my tastes.

Loved this farmer’s market. Was able to get fruits that my mother has not seen since she was in Jamaica. Positive vibes from all. You can even take the bus right there.

Is the car park open at all times? I’d like to arrive early (6am) to park.
Are the vendors on Tuesday night the same as Saturday? In particular is the abalone vendor there Tuesday as well?

Hi,
Would anyone know if the No 2 BUS still goes to the KCC Farmer's Market on Saturdays? I checked the most recent bus schedule and it seems like it stops at Campbell/Monsarrat.
If not, any suggestions for the BUS from the Kuhio/Ohua Ave area.
We have a car but was hoping to avoid the traffic. Thanks again.

Is this market still active and is it still a limited time like 10 am to 11 or something like that?

Yes it is still active then but very busy. Go earlier if you can and don't forget to drop in on the much smaller Thomas Jefferson Elementary Farmers Market on the way there or back from Waikiki.
