Sue is very professional and resouseful. I really enjoyed the trip. We arrived a bit earlier and she's already there so we would have to wait otherwise, and we were able to finish the trip early as well. Sue is very knowledgable about the area and certain know everything on the route. We were able to see several interesting caves and enjoy the fall of Collingwood. Thanks.

Thanks very much for your kind review. The colours were spectacular! All our hiking, snowshoeing and back country camping tours are private, giving us the ability to work with each guest to adjust timings as requested, group tours do not permit this flexibility. Additionally, all our guides are long time locals, very knowledgeable not only about the environment and geography of the area, but of the local activities, food and places to stay. We pride ourselves on our ability to share and showcase the Collingwood/Creemore/Wasaga Beach area. We hope you and your partner enjoyed your getaway in Collingwood and hope to see you again on another Step it Up Adventure tour.

We did a hike with Sue to the Singhampton Caves which was spectacular. Despite being very comfortable finding our own way with hikes, I was so happy I opted for the guided tour. We would have missed most of the coolest spots that Sue knew all about. Also, even if I had found some good spots, I may have been weary of taking my 7yo kid without knowing the potential dangerous spots but Sue was able to point out the best routes. The overall experience was so professional and well organized. Sue is so well prepared. She was so extra good with my shy kid being engaging but giving plenty of space. Despite this being an unexpected addition to our plans, and as my kiddo said: it was the highlight of our trip! If we're ever in the area again, we would absolutely want to do another adventure with Step It Up.

Thank you very much for the amazing review and sharing your experience with other people that might be thinking about booking one of our tours. Your child did take a little bit of time to warm up to me, but by the time we were on route back, we were high fiving and chatting all the way 😊. Because our tours are private we are able to take that extra time to get to know our guests, ensuring they are comfortable while accommodating each individual's skills and interests, unlike large/public tours.
I thoroughly enjoyed our time together and hope to see you again on another Step it Up Adventure tour.

Our family of 3 people, with different physical abilities, took a private tour with Step it Up Adventure's Hikes to Singhampton Caves. From the moment I called to ask my too many questions, Sue picked up the phone and was so patient and clear about everything. When we completed our hike, we were super happy and excited. We realized that without a great guide we would either get lost in the caves and crevices, or not go in at all because we wouldn't know where it was safe to go.
Sue is an extremely professional, experienced hiker herself, who goes on the multiple-day difficult hikes; she can hike at all seasons, including night hikes. You always feel safe, as Sue has experience in First Aid. Sue is a very tactful person; she doesn't ever make you feel uncomfortable if you can't do something and makes you feel good when you can. In our group of 3, our daughter, who is 22 and very fit and flexible was doing what she could, my husband, who is 55 and in a good shape did mostly everything too, and I am 50 and a long-distance walker but not as athletic, did almost everything and just skipped a few points that were too hard for me.
It wasn't just the hike we enjoyed, Sue covered history and social politics and life in the area; she pointed interesting fun things to look at on our way. We built a great relationship and friendship on our way and hope that Sue will visit us in New York soon! Thank you for everything!

Thank you for the amazing review. I very much enjoyed my time with you and your family. Our guides are all very accomplished in the wilderness in both their training and experience, facilitating our ability to ensure our tours are safe and educational.
Additionally, Step it Up Adventures only offers private tours, giving us the ability to be flexible while accommodating everyone's skills and interests, unlike large/public tours.

Why choose a guided trail tour?
*You don’t get lost
*You get a professional experience: you have a worldly experienced guide
*Your guide is qualified in first aid/CPR
*your guide knows all the hidden treasures in the area
*Your guide carries 2 cell phones in case of emergencies!!
Now, that’s what we call an experience!
We had a great time for 3 hours. The walking trails are easy to moderate. The hiking is moderate. Our guide Lisa was really friendly and professional.
I am usually claustrophobic, but I was able to visit all the caves no problem !
We highly recommend this private tour.
They followed up by sending us a photo album of the day, which was awesome!

Because our tours are private we are able to work with each guest to ensure their tour meets or exceeds their expectations. I am glad that Lisa was able to support and help you push just a little bit past your comfort zone. We enjoy taking the stress and distraction of documenting the tour out of the picture for our guests by taking and sharing pics and videos after the tour. I did the Singhampton Caves hike, and I did love it!!!
Our guide (Sue) is very well trained and experienced which makes this experience even more exciting, rewarding and informative at the same time.
I recommend this activity with Step It Up Adventures X1000!!!!

We had an amazing time! I booked this for a girls weekend with my daughters and had the best time ever. The caves and hike had breathtaking views and our guide Sue was top notch! We felt like she was apart of the family by the end.

We just did the Singhampton Caves hike with Sue, and boy did we love it!!
From the get go, Sue made us feel comfortable with her easy going personality. She gave us an adventure that we'll remember for years to come! She encouraged us to go out of our comfort zones (within our limits) and showed us that we can do more (way more) than we thought we could!
It turned out to be a most exciting adventure!

This was an amazing experience. The views and things we learned were so cool! Sue is absolutely amazing, right from the get go super welcoming and easy to get along with, she kept us on our toes showing us lots of cool stuff and always making sure we were doing good! 10/10 experience and will definitely be booking a tour again soon!

Our adventure guide today was Sue. She was awesome! The directions to the hiking site were clear and there was ample parking. The trail to the caves was so beautiful, with tall trees making wonderful shade on our hot day. Sue tailored her speed to our group's needs, taking plenty of rest breaks. Definitely bring water. The slots, caves and rock nooks were perfect for my 13 year old nephews to explore. The cooler temperatures in the caves was welcomed. I found the flora and fauna to be so varied, especially the ferns. We had options to explore or hang back if the terrain was too much or spaces too tight. A short drive from Collingwood or Wasaga Beach. I would highly recommend this adventure!
