Es muy importante que haga cola temprano para que las embarcaciones lleguen a la costa si desea llegar al recorrido antes de que parta. El costo del recorrido incluye traslados de ida y vuelta desde y hacia las cuevas y cualquier alojamiento en las áreas de George Town o Seven Mile Beach únicamente. Nuestro chofer fue Víctor , hubo un atraso de 10 min de la hora acordada pero fue por un problema de tránsito, el chofer se disculpó con nosotros por ese atraso. Durante el viaje Víctor nos hablaba de algunos datos interesantes de la isla y su gente. El bus en el que viajamos estaba limpio y tenía A/C. El transporte a las Crystal Caves nos pareció alto el precio, pero es el costo por haber comprado un tour privado ya que se nos hacía difícil comprar uno grupal ya que solo éramos 2 personas. The history of the site is amazing. Chester is the best guide! He knows the site and the history and has worked there for over 40 years! His knowledge and passion shines through in his tour! I loved hearing his “coloring book”/interpretations of the different crystal formations. He even took pictures for me since I was traveling alone! He’s a wonderful soul!

The review of one star is for Cay Tours, not the Cave tour which runs its own operation once you get there. We signed up with Shore Excursion Group of which Cay was the operator and essentially transportation. We signed up for the 9 am, got reassigned to noon and after expressing concern that it was too close to ship departure at 3:30, got switched back to 9. Be aware this group is disorganized and unsure of who they take where, and when. We picked up people along the roadside after waiting for another bus, and dropped others at St. Pedro. Driver drove erratically, slamming on the brakes and fiddling with his phone and Bluetooth speaker, which he blasted. At St. Pedro he got out of the bus and a passenger turned down the speaker only to have it cranked again when he returned. We arrived at the caves and were handed off to the cave tour guides which were fine. After returning to the Cay bus we drove down the road 5 minutes when the bus driver slammed on the brakes and came to the back of the bus asking” did that one lady get back on?” He then drove erratically back to port and into a line of traffic where we sat. He tried to call his manager and after 20 minutes we asked to get off the bus and walked the few blocks to town. He would’ve never made that pier by one, much less noon. I felt sorry for the next group!

Slashes of green everywhere from the outside. In the inside it’s nicely lit and put together. So many rock formations the tour guide goes over please try to come up with a name for these formations on the stop!

Our tour guide Ashani led us through the Crystal Caves. This tourist destination was well run and well supplied with everything tourists need and expect. We enjoyed touring three different caves, one with a lake at the bottom formed from rainwater, and another home to tiny fruit bats. We were never rushed and he took time to explain everything in a entertaining manner.

Shout out to Ashani our tour guide! The tour was fun and informative, our girls (10,13,15) thought it was a blast! The caves were truly amazing to see! Highly recommended.

This site is about 45 minutes away. Today they were running late. The tours goes through 3 little caves. Not worth wasting almost 2 hrs in travel time for what you see there. Wasted my entire day in the sun as we were stuck in traffic on the way back.

The caves however are a favorite amongst tourists visiting our island and most seem to enjoy their time at the caves. The caves were beautiful and interesting. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. Cave was easily walkable and well lit. Tour site facilities were clean and well kept.

Make sure your arrival time is the same as the island. The meeting destination is not what they say it was. We were late because we had to try and track them down. Arrived 8 minutes late and they already left. Will never book anything with Trip Advisor again. Terrible Service.

Tour departure time from the Port Terminal is 9:00 AM and 12:00 Noon, all guests are allowed 15 minutes after the departure time and if they do not arrive by the time stated the bus must leave with other passengers who arrive on time, and the time it will take to reach the Caves is approximately one hour; slots have to be purchase in advance, should we arrive late it is possible that you can lost the opportunity, and we have a responsibility to get our guests at the Caves on time.
We are situated inside Royal Terminal, after exiting through security continue walking forward on approaching the last Tent that is covered with a white canopy, and to your extreme left is hanging a sign with the word " CAYTOURS" that is where we are situated.
We are sorry to hear of your experience, and hope you would give us the opportunity to be of service to you in the future.

There is a cave that has a spiral staircase with narrow steps that may be difficult depending on the term of your pregnancy. If you are an individual that walks in nature then you will easily be able to walk the paths and avoid any bumps along the Terrain. If you find you can’t do the one cave, there is a nice covered cafe where you can sit and wait for the group to return to after the one difficult cave.
