All aboard the Hogwarts Express!
My 2nd tour with Happy Tours after taking the Isle of Skye tour with Craig in March this year. Imagine my surprise when our guide for the Glenfinnan & Great Glen tour was...Craig!

We left Inverness at 8am and had a full minibus. There was myself, a young lady from Georgia in the USA, a mother & daughter from Germany and two couples from Essex! What a great group of people! Whilst I enjoy travelling solo I also enjoy the company of people & meeting new people. Happy Tours offer this opportunity!

The tour was fantastic despite the October Scottish weather & the secenery is stunning from Inverness all the way to Glenfinnan via Fort William. The viaduct is a must for Harry Potter fans & Fort William has some lovely places to eat lunch & top up on souvenirs.

Craig has a fantastic knowledge of Scotland and this shines through and you get caught up in it (even as an English person)! He also has a very good sense of humour and a vast array of 'Dad' jokes to match! The day flys by too quickly and Craig has you back for late afternoon.

I would highly recommend Craig and Happy Tours! I am back in March and will look at a third tour for sure. Keep up the excellent work!

Robbie was an excellent guide. He answered all of our questions no matter how obscure, was a good laugh, and was genuinely engaging all day. We learned an incredible amount from such a passionate guide. The entire day was well-paced, comfortable, and fascinating. Highly recommend.

Great tour-great guide

Wonderful tour, the bus was very comfortable; and our driver/guide Stuart was extremely knowledgeable, witty and entertaining. I’ve long been fascinated to see the Great Glen Fault, Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness section between Inverness and Fort William, which was the main motivation for this the trip - to see the Glenfinnan Viaduct and the Jacobite Steam Train crossing over was a real bonus. Highlights for me were the Viaduct, the Locks at Fort Augustus, the stone bridges at Glenmoriston, Urquhart Castle view not to forget the impressive Fort William High Street. The tour was about 9 hours, which was a good length, back in Inverness in time for a pleasant early evening stroll.

Nice Way to See More of Scotland

Since my traveling partner and I did not want the hassle of renting a car and driving on the "wrong" side of the road, we took this tour in order to see more of the countryside around Inverness. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and we got to see the "Harry Potter train" go across the viaduct. Nice day trip!

Excellent guide
Outstanding tour with an excellent guide, Robbie. Extremely informative and amusing, with some wonderful anecdotes. Well timed to get to the viaduct for a good photo position. Saw other sights on the more leisurely return journey. Robbie very engaging, reciting Scottish poetry and singing songs at appropriate times. Would highly recommend.

Amazing time. Would do it again.
Stuart! What a guy! This trip was awesome. Having just 8 people plus the driver in the coach was the best experience I’ve had so far. I’ve been on full size and medium tours before and this was the smallest and thus the most intimate and the best. Stuart really knew his stuff and offered lots of tales in a nice spaced out way, so it wasn’t too overwhelming. He got us everywhere on schedule and safely, and he had a good sense of humour. 10/10 would go again with this company.
