Great experience with this tour. Manuel rocked and had an issue on van ride where AC started to malfunction as we were about 15 min from port. They were able to fix the situation by getting a replacement van within 10 min. There is a hike to get to the cave through rocky paths and cross some parts of the river from the cave with some current at times. You have the option of carrying your tube during the hike or pay $5 US to have a tube waiting for you at the cave entrance. Took about 20-30 min to reach the entrance of the cave. Manuel did great to get us situated. The tubes were tied together for our group. He did a great job guiding a family of 8 through the tour. Beautiful tour with the cave views and then continuing on the river through the natural forest. FYI booking via trip advisor is highly recommended as the cruise booking will charge about 1/3-1/2 more for less of a tour. Anyway we enjoyed every bit of the experience. Lunch was a homemade chicken tamale which was very delicious. Manuel was very friendly and informative. Got us to the port in plenty of time before the last tender to your ship.

This was a good tour. Well-organized. The actual tubing experience itself is kind of short, but it was fun to experience. A chunk of the time is getting transported to and from the cave site. The lunch included was very tasty and it was a nice way to spend part of a day. The tour company was very professional. Do pay attention to what time of year you book this trip, though, because if it has been raining a lot, the river is going to be too high, and they may have to cancel the tour. It didn't happen to us, but it came close. Our trip was the end of February (dry season) and they still had been getting a decent amount of rain.

Our guide was amazing. The group was small, only 5 people in total. The experience was so unique and special. The lunch provided was delicious. 10/10 recommend!

A fun and interesting trip down the river, through the cave on inner tubes. Ediue? was our guide, knowledge and a lot of fun. We visited the cave on foot. Incredible cave and history. Remnants of Mayan pottery. Lunch after the tour was good. Thank you to the office staff who were helpful beyond their jobs. My second tours with Mayawalk. I would recommend them.

Tubing in the cave is amazing! The guides all did a great job and were very informative.
That being said, I wish I had found out the total time for this trip in advance, especially since I'm staying in Caye Caulker. We left our place at 7am to get to the meet up on time, and with the two hours driving, two hours for the water taxi, plus wait times we got back at 6pm! As much as I enjoyed the tubing, of I knew this activity would take all day for me I wouldn't have done it. The cave tubing is about 60 mins and lunch after was about 30 mins. So consider this if you're staying on an island and don't want this to take your entire day.

We enjoyed this excursion despite being rained on mainly because of our amazing guide Jimmy. Count yourself lucky if you get him!
The drive to the cave location was about an hour long. Jimmy made it interesting by sharing the history of Belize City. Upon arrival to the cave site, we changed into our swimsuits. We then picked up our life jackets, helmets, and tubes. Unlike the other reviews, we were not given the option to pay $5 for someone to carry our tubes. My husband and I wore waterproof hard-soled sandals and they worked fine.
The 30-minute hike to the starting point was through a rain forest where you had to crossed the river by foot 3 times. The water can run as high as your waist. This can be a bit scary for a non-swimmer like me. I had the big tube in one hand while trying not to slip on the rocky bottom. My husband grabbed my tube but Jimmy immediately took it from him and carried it the rest of the way (what a nice guy!).
Once at the mouth of the cave, Jimmy and Peter (other guide) tied us into 2 groups of 6 with each of them leading 1 group. We wished we were with Jimmy’s group as he was very enthusiastic and verbose. The cave was very peaceful and meditative with interesting formations. We tubed both inside the cave and outside on the open river. The ending point was a 3-minute walk back to the starting point.
“Lunch” was a hot soggy chicken tamale plus a water bottle so set your expectation accordingly.
When we got back into the van, a patron tried to tip Jimmy but he insisted that Peter should get part of it. He only accepted it after the man assured him that he already tipped Peter.
A huge shout-out to Jimmy who was a hard-working, helpful, fair and excellent guide. He is a true asset to Cave Tubing 5 Star.

So we went with “Belize Fun Tours” and met up with our guide Vincent, he was knowledgeable and polite and fun to be with. He was always watching out for our safety. Some days are definitely better to go on on then others, depending on how many ships are in town, the day we went there were not too many. I took a GoPro that worked well, others took their cell phones in waterproof cases. The path to the starting point was very rocky, I was wearing rubber water shoes and their sole wasn’t very thick, so that slowed me some. Was unsure about this excursion as, I don’t swim too well. But we all wore life vests and helmets that had lights on them, and all of our tubes were tied together so no one got lost. It was a great time, very UnBelizable.

This was my first cave tubing tour and it did not disappoint! Kenton our amazing tour guide picked us up from our hotel and we learned so much information throughout the tour. The 25-minute walk through the rainforest was scenic and we stopped to walk through cave's, heard about the trees, plants, and wildlife. We even saw a howler monkey! The highlight for me was the tube ride through the cave where Kenton guided us through and pointed out all the cave formations and it was very relaxing and fun. Lunch was really good too! I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Belize.

Kenton was the best guide. He most attentive and knowledgeable. He gave us a very comprehensive tour. We thoroughly enjoyed it. He took us to a dry cave. Then when we were in the river cave, he explained many different formations. He did an excellent job. We toured much of the cave with just his lamp illuminating formations. It was spectacular. We would recommend 5 Star and Kenton!

This was a fun way to spend the day. Kent and Manuel were great guides. We hiked through a rain forest for 30 minutes to get to the mouth of the cave and then had a lovely, relaxing ride through the caves and down the river. The guides were kind enough to let me pick up my luggage from my hotel on our way back to the meeting point! Saved me money and time getting to Caye Caulker. I highly recommend this tour!
