Really interesting mosaic and mosaic story which is told by a video. Easy parking and not too far from Beit She’an Roman ruins. Worth a look.

This is a small place, but it is almost entirely filled with the floor of and ancient synagogue and its...Outstanding Mosaic.
Absolutely superb.
So well preserved and so sophisticated it is a pleasure for the eyes.
You will learn all about it thanks to the attendant who will start a movie, even if you alone in the building, as I was.
I had the mosaic all for myself and while the story was being told I could move all around to have a better look at the different parts of it.
This is not a Must see for your 1st trip in Israel but if you pass by there, you should definitely stop by and give it half an hour.

The site is basically the large impressive mosaic floor of an ancient synagogue. The short video clip seems like speculation behind its creation and not much direct history or characters but nonetheless, a piece of history of Jewish settlement in the northern area of that era.

Bet Alpha National Park is basically one single room of the Ancient Synagogue with primitive but evocative mosaic on the floor. The 15-minute interpretive video - which was started as soon as I entered the room, since I was the only visitor at the time - is a lighthearted dramatization of the origin of the mosaic, followed by a quick overview of the synagogue architectural features, worth the time to see and listen to. The cost of entry is probably not commensurate with the offering, but it may be worth it because the mosaic is really interesting. My entire visit took under half an hour.

Bet Alpha is an ancient synagogue with an interesting Zodiac Wheel Mosaic Floor that our tour itinerary wanted us to see. With the help from our guide, we had a deeper appreciation of what we saw. This is a very old place and you can appreciate the history.

Während unserer Israel-Rundreise haben wir hier halt gemacht! Ich denk, wenn wir privat unterwegs gewesen wären, hätten wir die Zeit etwas anders genutzt!
Also es ist schon sehr imposant, wenn man sich vor Augen hält, wie lange dieses Mosaik bereits besteht und noch soo gut erhalten ist!
Bei einem kleinen Film bekommt man auch die Geschichte erzählt, wie das Mosaik entstanden sein könnte!

רשות הטבע והגנים מקיימים טקסי "פסיפס" באתרים מיוחדים, לאירועים מיוחדים.
אנחנו הגענו לרגל בר מצווה לבית הכנסת בגן הלאומי בבית אלפא.
נהננו מטקס מרגש, כשחוויית המבקרים האחרים, לפי דעתי, לא נפגעה (אפילו להיפך, מטיילים אחרים נהנו לראות אותנו בטקס ישראלי אותנטי).
מלבד הטקס עברנו הדרכה חוויתית עם משחקים להפעלה.
שירות "פסיפס" ניתן ב-15 אתרים ברחבי הארץ:
בצפון – גמלא, ברעם, כורזים, חמת טבריה, בית אלפא, ציפורי, בית שערים, תל מגידו
במרכז – אפולוניה, קסטל
בדרום – עין גדי, מצדה, תל ערד, תל באר שבע
ניתן לשמור מקום ולערוך סיור מקדים. יש גם אפשרות להביא ציוד וכיבוד לקבלת פנים.
בנוסף לקיום הטקס במקום, מוצעת הדרכה חווייתית, משחקים והפעלה למשפחה ולאורחים.
