This small well made museum is dedicated to inform about rural life in Luxembourg as it was ... a long time ago.

Museum is located in a very small village lost in the North of Luxembourg.

Very interesting visit

We spent an interesting afternoon with friends from England on one of our "Seniors Club" trips out to this quaint museum in the north of Luxembourg. It gave a lovely insight into rural life in the early parts of the last century, with which we found quite novel, the descriptions were only in Luxembourgish and English, which is very unusual as the norm is for French and German to be included. We were informed that this was due to the American visitors to the area which paid a large part in World War II being where the famous Battle of the Bulge took place. Well worth a visit if you are in Luxembourg though it is a good way out from the city of Luxembourg, we would certainly say it is worthwhile if you have the time.

Musée arts rustique.. sur la vie de famille..artisanat..comme forgereons poterie..commerçants de bétaille.. dames couturière.. entretient et embellissement des foyers.. A PLACE TO BE SEE.. NOT PASSING A LONG ...COME IN...

Hervorragendes Landmuseum

300 Jahre Landleben auf 1100qm Fläche,es geht über viele Treppen auf und ab,um in zahlreichen Räumen alles über das Landleben der letzten Jahrhunderte zu erfahren.
Eine umfangreiche,sorgfältig zusammengestellte Sammlung mit Gebrauchsgegenständen aus dem Alltagsleben,wie auch der Landwirtschaft selbst,so sind auch Landmaschinen ausgestellt und man erhält auch Einblicke in bestimmte Berufsgruppen,wie beispielsweise Imkerei,Zahnarzt oder auch Schumacher.
Sehr schön sind auch die nachgestellten Räumlichkeiten,so daß man gut sehen kann,wie man damals gelebt hat.

Geöffnet ist das Museum von Ostern bis Anfang November,Eintritt 4€,offen ist von 14-18h,letzter Eintriff ist um 17h.
Auf Grund der Treppen ist das Museum nicht für Rollstuhlfahrer geeignet.
Am Eingang bekommt man außerdem auch viele touristische Informationen.
