Should have listened to other reviews, the rv park is a ghetto and over priced, could not pay me to stay here again, drive 2 minutes down the road and stay at a much nicer place.

Used to be the best place in Parksville to mini golf. However, since it got new owners it has become very unkept and overgrown. Lobby is now lifeless and dull and looks half put together. Mini golf courses are worn down and the price the website said ($14 for one course), was presented to us as $18.50 for one course for an adult. Riptide Lagoon it’ll be until someone fixes this place up!

My husband and I went on a Friday afternoon and the course wasn’t busy, which was nice. We had fun playing both 18 hole courses, however we were surprised of the price of $44. The arcade could definitely use some updating and love, as the games are all dated, half of them needed servicing / out of service or they weren’t dispensing tickets. The prizes all needed an enormous amount of tickets to be won and weren’t realistic.

This park and the manger is terrible don’t waste your money After being told I was in one site she put us in a site where the sewer and electrical and water is right at your door in fact sewer is halve under my stairs She is rude there is dog poop not being picked up and washing hung on picnic tables To get to the water the hill is so steep And good luck in getting a view space or any space with a part view you can barely get your rv in You are suppose to park in fun park lot and forget about your awning We are leaving here two days early as it has not been a holiday for us
Save your money go somewhere else !!!

low quality fun park. Run down and dingy. Manager doesn't appreciate your business. Only cares about every one pays for golf and keeps walking around to make sure ones didn't pay don't go on course.

Experienced shady business, disrespect, and discrimination at Paradise Fun Park. The manager treated me and another customer completely differently for the same incident. The manager sided with the other customer, even though the manager did not see the incident that happened, and even after I explained my side of the story. The manager gave the other customer coupons for free games and when I said that is unfair, I am upset by the incident too, and if the other customer got coupons, the same courtesy should be extended to me. The manager just said no coupons for me. Then I said my mood is ruined, and I no longer want to stay to play my next activity (bumper boat) that I prepaid for (but did not play yet). The manager basically just said "sorry no refund" despite I explained I felt I was treated differently so I am no longer wanting to stay at the business to play bumper boat. The manager just continued to insist no refund on the unused bumper boat ticket. It just came across as the manager does not care that I was unhappy with this whole experience. The manager said I can throw out the bumper boat ticket if I no longer want to use it, but no refund. Wow, just completely opposite treatment from how the manager treated the other customer. I said I felt discriminated against and not listened to. I wasn't given the same courtesy as the other customer who was Caucasian. I am Chinese and I definitely felt discriminated against since I explained my side of the story regarding the incident but the manager did not extend the same courtesy to me. The manager also just sided with the other customers and assumed I was at fault when I wasn't even after I explained that I wasn't at fault.
To give some context, the incident started with my kids being yelled at twice by the other customer. The other customer yelled (rudely with attitude) at my kids to back off, but my kids weren't even in their space. My kids were one hole behind them on the mini golf course. So after the 2nd yell, I spoke back and told the customer to stop yelling, because my kids were one hole behind and not on their hole. That customer was taken aback that I spoke back and now argued with me that my kids invaded their space. Then that customer went to complain about me and that's the start of me being treated (handled) differently by the manager.
The manager suddenly appeared near where my kids were playing and followed to observe my kids play the next 2 or 3 holes. Then I asked is there a problem and the manager said I was complained against for my kids invading the other customer's space. Honestly, when the manager suddenly creeped up and started observing my kids, it made me feel uncomfortable already and I got the feeling he was treating us like we were at fault and guilty. And throughout my conversation with the manager, he said a couple times that my kids invaded other's space, so I won't get the coupons, but truth is 1) the manager did not see with his own eyes 2) my kids did not invade other's space. So the manager just took the words of the other customer and this is the main reason I feel being treated unfairly.
To give further context, the other customer (who complained against me) was really slow on each hole and was taking more time than normal pace. Why I said that is the family on the hole behind my kids were already done and the kid from the family behind actually went onto the hole that my kids were still at, because my kids were waiting for the other customer (in front of my kids) to finish.

My niece and I had a wonderful week at Paradise Fun Park competing at mini golf, dodging spray from the bumper boats, vying for prizes at the arcade and enjoying a refreshing slushy at the Snack Bar. Although all of the employees we encountered were friendly and helpful, one employee, in particular, Sabi, made our week especially memorable! He had such an engaging smile and positive attitude every time we saw him. Sabi went above and beyond to help and serve, instructing us patiently at the bumper boats and cheering us on at the arcade. Interacting with Sabi made our holiday extra special! We hope to see you again next year, Sabi!

The new owners have really let the mini golf grounds go. A lot! Paradise used to be well maintained with beautiful plants all over, but all of the plants are dead or dying and weeds are everywhere. Not to mention the huge increase in cost. I’ll give my business to Riptide Lagoon who keep a clean, well maintained and well priced mini golf course in Parksville.

Wife and 7 pound puppy were attacked, puppy was killed and wife was bitten severely by a Pit Bull staying in the small very expensive RV Park. The parks negligence in not letting guests know that 100 pound plus Pit Bull was staying in the park is unforgivable. Hundreds of small children come to the Fun park and RV park to play and should feel safe as well as Adults and Pets.

We had a blast here! We played both 18 hole courses. The courses were so fun. We also did the bumper boats and had a great time. This is a great place to spend a morning. It didn't feel crowded either. You can spray each other in the bumper boats so doing that last is a good idea.

why is the owner (the middle aged italian man) so rude to both employees and customers? have been coming here for years, and have witnessed multiple times him yelling and berating his high school/university aged staff. I feel sorry for anyone who works here. Don't ever come here, your money just goes to his booze fund............

Is there a general admission fee or you pay just for activities as you go?

You pay for the golf (two courses to choose from). Other activities are all pay as you go!

I am unsure as I have only been camping when I was younger. I would write their site or call to make sure bc it might change seasonally due to the amount of traffic. Sorry I wish I could be of more help

I thought this place was torn down to make way for the beach club resort almost 2 years ago. How did I miss this?

Beach Club replaced the old Island Hall resort. This place is further down the highway.
