A Lovely Experience

We fully enjoyed our boat tour in Kilkenny. Cliff shared the perfect amount of history, local hotspots, as well as knowledge of birds we spotted along the way. For early October there was an expected chill in the air, however on the water the sun was shining and with proper outerwear we were very comfortable! We highly recommend the tour for a unique perspective of a fabulous city.

Highly Recommended!!

We had a fabulous tour with Cliff - such a wonderful guide! We learned so much about Kilkenny and Ireland history and sought out locations he recommended following our time on the boat. Getting on the water is always a treat and this was a great way to spend some of our time in Kilkenny, Highly recommended!!

Not sure how to answer this William. But thanks anyway. Unfortunately politics and history are inextricably intertwined in this country. There's nothing I can do about that. But you're right about viewing the sights of Kilkenny on foot. This can easily be done yourself if you don't like taking guided boat trips, cycling tours, or walking tours. Experience not to be missed in Kilkenny

We took this boat ride during our visit to Kilkenny in September. Our Guide was very nice and pleasant, he told us some anecdotes about the city, some buildings and the story of the witch Petronella. The tour was really very enjoyable and fun and we even managed to see a rare bird that occasionally populates these shores. Absolutely is one of the things not to be missed when experiencing beautiful Kilkenny. Highly recommended!!!

One of the highlights of Kilkenny

A lovely way to spend an hour in Kilkenny.
Our guide was from Portugal but had amazing knowledge of Kilkenny itself and gave us tips and suggestions as to where else to visit.
He was very friendly and helpful, taking good care to make this an enjoyable experience. As we traveled along the river, he pointed out sites of interest and we even did some bird spotting, seeing the kingfisher and a heron.
We can highly recommend this experience, well worth the money.

Cute little boat tour. Nice way to spend 45 minutes. Easy to locate and the town is adorable. Parking can be a little challenging.

Boat Trip along the Nore

Really lovely relaxing yet informative experience. Our guide, Annemarie, provided an interesting overview of what Kilkenny has to offer as well as some gems of information about the wildlife around the Nore. Managed to spot a couple of Kingfishers along the way. Highly recommend.

Nice way to spend time in Kilkenny.

This activity rates a 5 purely because of the delightful guide Cliff. I would have liked to get closer to the castle but we were perfectly happy with this outing because of the stories and knowledge shared by our guide. A nice way to spend a few hours in Kilkenny and learn about its history.

Beautiful way to see Kilkenny

Such a beautiful, peaceful and informative way to get a glimpse of Kilkenny. We learned about the history and culture of the city while taking in all of the gorgeous views.
