This was an impressive exhibition, that was based on the category, of art, in the olympics including Painting literature and poetry, who knew, the last showing was in 1954.

Waterford has such a collection of Street Art . You might forget the actual Art Gallery. But what a collection of Unreal pieces it has. 😍
With pieces I thought were photos then on closer inspection you realise they are paintings. With such attention to detail.
The Gallery has a modern feel. I will definitely be visiting Waterford Art Gallery for the new show in April. Thank you Waterford Art Gallery plus the staff were super friendly. 👌

This is a must for both locals and visitors to the city. I enjoyed portraits of people and places of local and international interest. The museum itself is a beautiful space in which to savour the talents of wonderful artists

Visited the Gallery today. Some very nice pieces and worth a visit, including at present

Anyone interested in Irish Art should definitely take a trip into WGOA. We had a guided tour of the current exhibition 'Portraits: People and Place' there today and what an enjoyable and informative tour it was! Beautifully curated exhibition with over 50 works from the Waterford Art Collection that you won't be able to leave feeling unaffected. The gallery itself is world class and a wonderful addition to the cultural landscape of Waterford city.

Amazing selection of work, staff were so friendly and welcoming, beautiful building with stone stair case. Free entry and close to city centre. Well worth a visit.

Thank you for your kind review. It's great to hear that you enjoyed our exhibition's wide selection of works and their current surroundings. The building was completed back in 1845 and originally opened as a bank. In 2019 it reopened as The Waterford Gallery of Art. We hope to welcome you back in the near future.
