Such an amazing trip. The staff were phenomenal, they were so friendly and attentive, really made the trip special. Boat very well equipped and decorated, very cosy. 10/10

Welcoming staff, and well equipped boat took us to Waterford where we stopped for a couple of hours before returning to New Ross.
Great way to travel and see the countryside, well equipped bar and seating area.
Thoroughly enjoyable, and will return.

Took the 90 minute River Suir Cruise from Wfd to Cheekpoint and back, great trip, excellent value for money, efficent friendly crew, highly reccomended

Our captain, Mick, was excellent. He was incredibly kind and warm to our group of 18 family members. We took the beautiful trip from New Ross down to Waterford. There were occasional bits of history over the loudspeaker to let you know what you were seeing. There was coffee and snacks on board, as well as, a clean restroom and kind crew who offered blankets for use on the top deck. I highly recommend this cruise with Captain Mick and his crew.

One of the best days out . Boat was lovely and clean and really smooth. Downstairs a gorgeous little bar that had scones / teas/coffees, cakes etc.... Upstairs the views were amazing on deck and the history of the river barrow is not told enough as its very interesting. Highly recommend this cruise . It needs to be advertised more and have a better social media presence as it really is a special day out and not to be missed. It would make a great party boat too . Loved it and will definetely be back .

A fantastic boat trip. Boat is very clean and comfortable with great facilities. The staff were so friendly. A magical boat journey that takes 2.5hrs from new ross to Waterford or vise versa. The scenery was amazing and steeped in history. Highly rated this boat trip. I don't think it is advertised enough.

Highly recommend this river cruise for a day out trip! Great value for money. 70 minutes to get a historical cruise of Waterford. Choice of staying up on deck or sitting downstairs with a selection of drinks and cakes ! Will return :-)

Everything about this Cruise is excellent and is a fantastic day out for families, groups or individuals. The Barrow Princess is a newly reconstructed boat, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with a beautiful lounge at deck level and an excellent and comfortable viewing deck upstairs. Tea/Coffee & drinks and confectionery are served on board at very reasonable prices. The trip from New Ross Marina takes a little less than 2 hrs and sails very smoothly down the River Barrow past many historic sites and beneath the iconic Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Bridge, Waterford Castle etc and berths at Waterford Marina for a couple of hours giving loads of time for a walk along Waterfords beautiful Millennium pier, grab lunch in one of the many great restaurants, do a bit of shopping before boarding for the return trip to New Ross.
The Barrow Princess is extremely smooth on the river so no risk of sea/motion sickness. This is an outstanding cruise and is a great day out and very safe for families. The crew of the Barrow Princess are very friendly , helpful and accommodating. Five Star treatment 👏👏👏

A wonderful, interesting river cruise from New Ross to Waterford City. Highly recommend this experience to families, couples or individuals. The boat is beautifully decorated and is spotless clean. Easy parking right at the point of boarding. Once on the board, the downstairs area has a full bar serving drinks, teas, coffees, cakes and scones. Up on deck you can see all the wildlife happening during the 2 hour cruise to Waterford. Every so often, their is announcements made about historical sites that we passed. Really enjoyed hearing about the history of the River Barrow. Once in Waterford, a short stroll took us to the Waterford Crystal Showrooms . After a little shopping and lunch we board the boat for the return journey, taking in the Rose Kennedy Bridge. Highly recommend this day out !
