Simone and Marcus were amazing at taking care of our private driving experience. They drove us all over Tuscany and helped us explore wine, food and the country side. Was a great experience.

For our vacation this summer, we booked Tuscan Private Driver's Mercedes E Class for roundtrip transfer from Firenze to Cortona, as well as a full-day "Excellence of Tuscany" wine tour. Simone was so helpful and response via email with scheduling these services. My now fiancé also contacted Simone prior to the trip because he was planning to propose to me on the wine tasting tour and Simone connected him with one of the wineries (Poggio Rubino) he was planning to take us to so that he could work directly with the owners to plan the proposal. As our travel dates got closer we also communicated via WhatsApp with Simone to confirm each private car reservation, which was so helpful!
We loved the Excellence of Tuscany wine tour. Simone picked us up that morning in Cortona to take us to 3 wineries to taste and learn about Nobile de Montepulciano, Brunelo di Montalcino, and Chianti Classico. Of course, it was an extra memorable day because we got engaged, but in terms of Tuscan Private Driver, we really enjoyed talking with Simone throughout the day and learning more about the wines and region. The wineries he took us to were all family-run, smaller wineries, which we really appreciated. Simone also took us briefly to Pienza, a beautiful medieval town where we took some photos and were able to do some quick shopping. He also learned that we were big fans of the movie Gladiator and drove us by the house from the movie, which we were so excited to see! He is an excellent private driver and made the day so much more memorable.
For the roundtrip transfer to and from Firenze/Cortona, our flight to Firenze was unfortunately cancelled the day we were supposed to arrive and we had to rebook to arrive in Rome the next day. Simone did his best to try to find us a driver, but given how booked they were in the summer it was not possible, which we completely understood (we made our way to Cortona by train instead). After talking with Simone on the wine tour and mentioning how much luggage we had on the trains, he let us know that he would change our return transfer car to a Mercedes van. For the van, Alessandro picked us up and we enjoyed our time talking with him as we traveled to our hotel in Firenze!
We highly recommend Tuscan Private Driver to anyone looking for a private driver service in Tuscany. You will not be disappointed!

We hired Tuscan Private Driver with a Mercedes minivan for a day for 6 adults to visit 2 wineries in Montalcino. We had made the winery reservations ourselves, but they will also suggest places and make arrangements for you. Simone was a great driver and tour guide and has just obtained his Sommelier certificate. Since we were starting from just outside of Cortona, the price was 250 euro cheaper than drivers suggested by the wineries.

We had the pleasure of a topnotch service from Simone and Marco when we visited Cortona. Right off the bat, you can tell they are truly professional in what they do. They arrived on time with a clean vehicle and never hesitated to help with luggages. Simone even reached out the day before our arrival (same with departure) to confirm and ensure service. I also appreciate the laid-back conversation during the ride and all the tips and info they shared. I highly recommend TUSCAN PRIVATE DRIVER and look forward to using their service again the next time we are in the Toscano region. Grazie mille, Simone e Marco!

If I can give it 6 stars, I would!
We were traveling as 2 couples and engaged Simone and team for the entire Tuscany trip. Right from the airport pick up at the Rome FCO airport, to the drop off at Florence, everything was executed perfectly. Simone and team was always punctual and reliable. The car was clean, comfortable and new. We visited many places - Montepulciano, Montalcino, Montichiello, Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano, Volterra to name a few. Simone also arranged for wine tasting, and truffle hunting for us. His team is professional, helpful and friendly. We learned a lot from him and his team, and we felt like we have made new friends at the end of the trip. Thank you Simone, for the wonderful experience and I wish you all the best! You guys are truly amazing!

We booked a Val D'orcia tour day with Simone and it was a wonderful experience. He picked us up in Cortona and was prompt, professional, and personable. We visited a vineyard outside of Montepulciano, a cheese farm for lunch near Pienza, and stops in both Montepulciano and Pienza. The views were stunning (even though the latter half of the day was a bit rainy). Not having the stress of driving on the narrow streets and finding parking was completely worth it! Highly recommend it to anyone wanting a taste of Tuscany.

Exceptional service. We booked the Tuscan Private Driver on two occasions in
April. They were very professional. The vehicles were beautiful and clean and the drivers were very knowledgeable about Italy. The drivers showed us places that we wouldn't have otherwise seen and gave us interesting insight into Italy and its culture. I would definitely book them again. Thanks Simone and Marco.

We booked Simone for 2 days. Cortona and Assisi on our first day and then a wine tour in Bolgheri for our second day. Everything was awesome from start to finish. Simone took care of everything. His vehicles are new and clean. We had very good conversation with him and he knew a alot about the areas we visited. I would definitely recommend his services.

How do we "book" the trips that we discuss with Simone? I've emailed a couple of times, but am afraid they are really busy. I just want to make sure that we are confirmed on their calendar.

Sorry Lori. I just found this now! It took us a few follow ups with Simone to get things finalized. I was a little worried too. He is a busy guy and the pre-trip communications were a bit sketchy, but his service was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. Hope it worked out for you!

Hi. Was this a completely private experience (just the 2 of you) or was it a group tour? I am looking to hire a private driver for the 2 of us only, to take us where we want to go...mainly to take photographs. Is this the sort of thing you did?

We hired him to take two of us out for a full day of winery tours, as that is what he advertises on his website. It was private with just the two of us. However, I’m sure you could call/email him to see if he is willing to drive you or a group around for the day. He’s very knowledge and passionate about the area too and probably knows some good places to go. Good luck and safe travels to you.

We paid 370€ for a tour of several towns in the Val d'Orcia region as well as Cortona. We were picked up (and dropped off) at our hotel in Siena. We were a party of 3.

Can you pick up from Cortona? What area do you live in? My husband and I and another couple are looking for a private driver for a day tour of wineries, cheese farm, small towns, olive groves,and beautiful Tuscsn scenery. We've been to Tuscany twice and seen the major hill towns and gone to some wineries. What is the cost for a day tour for us 4 and can we customize the tour within reason along with your suggestions.
