Barbara did an incredible job showcasing the culture and many tastes of Tuscany during our class. Just my wife and I on our honeymoon. Great wine, learned a ton, and arguably the best meal we had while in the area. 10/10 experience thank you Barbara!

Breakfast was awesome from fresh juices to mixed berries. The waitress shakila was there to serve us at all times. Also the quality of food is perfect and they keep check on all our health needs. Hilton hotel is one of the best hotels in Qatar.

What a wonderful, fun day! Chef Barbara is a great combination of organization, knowledge and fun! She was very responsive to our requests (please, no homemade pasta!) and did a great job of accommodating our preferences. Eating the lunch we cooked together on the terrace was a wonderful treat. Cannot recommend highly enough - it was a great change of pace from the city, and a real treat to be welcomed into a local home. Don't hesitate to book - I guarantee you will not regret it.

This was my favorite part of our trip to Italy! Barbara was a great tour guide at the market and so much fun to cook with in her home. The food was delicious! Highly recommend!!

While vacationing in Tuscany, my husband and I took a cooking class with Barbara Desderi from the Florence Cooking School. We made a delicious meal of stuffed chicken, stuffed zucchini blossoms, fresh pasta with a zucchini sauce, and chocolate flan. Barbara was an excellent teacher as well as a delight to spend time with. We would highly recommend her.

Chef Barbara was great! She met us at the market and showed us all of the local ingredients and foods. It was really fun to plan the menu with Chef Barbara based on foods that we wanted to cook/try. Her kitchen in Florence was under construction but she welcome my wife and I into her beautiful home. We had so much fun and the food was amazing! I have participated in many cooking classes, but Chef Barbara is the first to determine the menu based on what type of food we were in the mood for. Chef also sent me the recipes and I'm going to try and recreate the food but won't be able to recreate the experience as it was so unique and fun. I highly recommend the class!

My wife and I just had a wonderful time with chef Barbara on our Italian Cooking Class experience. We met at Sant’Ambrogio market in Florence and picked up fresh seasonal ingredients and catered the menu to our liking. Barbara was very helpful in explaining the seasonal items and the local cuisine. We wanted to make ricotta ravioli in butter and sage, rabbit in tomato sauce with olives, stuffed tomatoes, and an almond chocolate cake for dessert. Chef Barbara then took us to her beautiful home in the Tuscan countryside and walked us through how to prepare each dish. It was so much fun and the food was absolutely superb! Dining in the Italian countryside on delicious cuisine that my wife and I prepared ourselves under the cleft guidance of Chef Barbara was a truly wonderful experience that we will never forget! We are so glad we decided to do the cooking class with Barbara! Thank you Chef Barbara for helping make our time in Florence so amazing!

My husband and I just spent a delightful afternoon at Barbara’s home. It was the highlight of our trip to Florence! Barbara is a wonderful chef and teacher. We not only learned how to cook the specific lunch but she offered so many insights into Italian cooking. When we mentioned we liked tiramisu, she added that to our menu for the day. Two desserts! I loved all her suggestions for pasta sauces. Best part of all was that she emailed me all the recipes to enjoy at home. It was a pleasure to learn so much about cooking and the culture in Florence. Barbara was such great company and I highly recommend her class in her beautiful home.

My husband and I had the delight of spending a day cooking with Barbara. She likes to meet at an amazing local market, Sant' Ambrogio to select the freshest ingredients for the menu. The selection of fresh produce, meats, grains, breads and cheeses was spectacular.
We decided to make an orecchiette with fresh eggplant and tomatoes, sautéed porcini mushrooms, a ROUND zucchinis stuffed with a sausage, onion mixture topped with parmesan and individual apple tarts with a semolina crust.
The preparation, under her expert guidance was so relaxed and fun and instructive. Barbara has a kind and endearing personality and in no time, we felt as though we had been friends for years.
The food was delicious and the dishes were ones we could make at home for our own guests.
Barbara gave us not only a lovely culinary experience, but a glimpse into the beauty of Italian life. This was a perfect adventure on our trip!

We had a private cooking class with Barbara who makes the food feel amazing in your mouth and your heart feel full of love. We learned so much AND had a great time. She is amazing with kids (aged 11 and 13). Barbara picked us up at our hotel and we were eating a 4 course meal within an hour. AMAZING!
