If you like vintage and classic vehicles this is an absolute must. I have never seen anything like it, you need a good 3 hours to go round it all. Level access and wheel chair friendly.

There are four really long buildings all interlinked, and they are full to the rafters of cars, vans, motorbikes and even the odd tram!

Great car museum with plenty of vehicles on display. They have motor bikes, pedal cycles even a horse drawn tram and a showman's cart as well. Very friendly knowledgeable staff. The grounds are worth seeing as well with an old steam train and a traction engine amongst the exhibits outside. When we visted you couldn't go up the tower. There is a tea room also doing hot drinks although the range of food was some what limited to what appeared to be some Swiss roll.

An amazing range of vehicles, well curated in a superb setting, and with helpful, knowledgeable staff.
We had coffees* but the cafe had hardly any cakes on offer.
*(These were free to compensate for the castle tower not being available for viewing the countryside.)

An excellent venue, especially on a very warm and sunny day. Staff all very helpful and attentive. Wonderful display of vintage cars and other items of transport. All laid out in a good way, with descriptions for most items. Lovely tea room with some outside seating. Nice cup of tea, included in the entrance fee. Found the whole experience very enlightening.
One down side, was the somewhat abandoned steam loco standing forlornly on its own. It did not look as though anyone had touched it for years which is a shame as the particular loco has quiete a long hisory.. Perhaps someone can look at this, and perhaps put the item under cover. There was no description of the loco or its history. Such a shame as otherwise the venue is very good.

Great and interesting museum, especially if you like cars. This attraction had the added value of a castle as well.

What an amazing collection!
Some people have complained about the admission fee of £17, but when you see the love and time that has been put into restoring, preserving and maintaining the vehicles, exhibits and the grounds you can see why the £17 admission is as it is. I’ve never seen a collection like it! Plus the complimentary tea and coffee and parking. It was £17 well spent.
My brother has autism and loves classic vehicles and despite him being more interested in buses he really enjoyed himself. The collection is WAY bigger than we expected with some incredibly special & rare cars.
The staff dotted around the museum are very knowledgable and friendly, they added some really interesting stories to the vehicles which brought it alive for us as we aren’t too fussed by cars ourselves, we just follow my brother around, but nonetheless, we really enjoyed our visit and no doubt any real classic car enthusiasts would have a great day out as well! We were allowed to view at our leisure and take as many photos as we wanted.
Afterwards we walked around the woodland, enjoyed a complimentary cup of tea, and a quick trip around the castle. We couldn’t believe we were there 2 hours!
*I previously read a review where someone was complaining about not being allowed inside the vehicles, but when you see how beautifully they have been restored and the sheer monetary value of them, it wouldn’t make any sense to let people sit in them, opening and closing the doors, fiddling with the steering wheel and gear sticks. The cars would soon be ruined! Keeping public off the vehicles is undoubtably the best way to keep them beautiful for many years to come, and allow the public to enjoy them for as long as is possible, so… if you’re looking for rides to sit on for yourself or your kids look to the nearest theme park instead!*
