Un poco de basura dejada por los otros viajeros. Es genial que es gratis. El amanecer era bastante reflexionando sobre Murray.

Un lugar muy agradable en las orillas del río Murray para camping. Incendios forestales y animales domésticos. Aunque una advertencia, no ser demasiado confiados. Tuvimos algunos visitantes en nuestro campamento, mientras estábamos lejos, pero por suerte tenía encadenada el generador, noté que había sido trasladado, y unas pocas cosas que faltan. No nos gusta dejar sin vigilancia después de eso. Hay agua y los inodoros cerca de Chaffey Park. Una gran variedad de tiendas en Merbein y lavanderías, 4 km, 10 km de Mildura o

Exploring the billabong

Nice to see the Murray and explore the area around the billabong. Good walking tracks and easy walking. Lots of local flora and we did see some pelicans, black swans and lorikeets.

Visit a Information Centre and get sone up to date information. Access was difficult and Google Maps horribly inaccurate. Ended up just driving around aimlessly trying to find a site or two. Probably better when guided.

Quiet town near Mildura

Vert quiet laid back town with a few amenities. A short drive from Mildura and apparently Australia's home of the Vanilla Slice.

This was a large area of scrub beside the Murray River, totally undeveloped and neglected, with a rutted ungraded road in, a horse track that was over grown. It did have nice views along the river. So much potential wasted.

Fishing on the Murray

Bit of trouble finding our way in to the commons (easy when know how). Dirt tracks that can get rough. Quiet, secluded and vast. Easy to find a quiet place to pull up and drop a line. No luck with fishing on this occasion.

We can only agree with before. What a gem among'st free camps. Beautiful Murray River sunsets. Only flag would be to be aware of the homeless camps along the river so best to camp in groups.

Great free camping

Ob boy, this is a real gem. Just watch out for sand traps.

Great for RV, wouldn't take a caravan here.

Park along side the riveredge and just enjoy. Plus it's FREE.

There are plenty of spaces, you can even avoid parking under a widow maker (tree with branches that just randomly break).

Silence through the night in a secluded part of the world with the tbe main town close by.

Camped here for a night in the RV while we were in Mildura. Lovely spot right on the Murray River with sunrise views. Toilets are a wee bit of a walk in the dark if you don't manage to get one of the spaces beside them. Highly recommended free camping area though.

Great picnic spot

Fantastic riverside picnic area beside the River Murray.
Clean BBQs and surrounds. Quiet and peaceful.
