Recently visited here as I am a big fan of IZ! Such a nice tribute to his music and his life. Free parking lot on the side of the road. Some place to sit down as well nearby.

This was a beautiful statue for such a wonderful person. It's also a scenic drive to get there from Waikiki. It took us about 45min.

Memorial for a mountain of a man who was arguably the famous Hawaiian of his generation. He was a songwriter, singer, musician, as well as an activist for Hawaiian rights and sovereignty. Died young from obesity at the age of 38 which was a huge tragedy for the Hawaiian people. I remember hearing his music when I listened to various artists on the world music scene. Nice bronze (I think) bust of him visible from the main road located at the Waianae Community Center. I'm glad I saw it while driving

口コミなどで場所を確認して出かけましたが、当地のSIMカードを購入していなくてグーグルマップなどが使えずやや不便ではありましたが、割と簡単に見つけることができました。場所は９３号線沿い。タムラマーケットを過ぎるとコミュニティセンターがありその庭らしいところに建てられていました。向かいには消防署がありますので、それも目印になるでしょう。
ちょっと残念なのは、いやだいぶ残念なのは、胸像なのは理解できるのですが、胸の部分は立体ではなく一枚の板でできているところです。大好きなIZです。自分がお金を出したわけではないのでこんなことを言える立場にはないのですが、ごく普通の胸像にして欲しかった。

ずっと前から見たかったＩＺの銅像を見ることができました。
ホノルルから１号線、そして９３号線に入り、マックを過ぎてケンタ過ぎて、次のマックとケンタが並ぶ地点からすぐ、右手に（左手は海岸線）に、 あります。
ハワイアンのＣＤ売り場に並ぶＣＤの中の「太ったオッチャン」がＩＺです。
レンタカーでないといけません。
アメリカのドラマ「ＥＲ」で、グリーン先生が亡くなる時、バックに流れていた曲がＩＺの曲です（涙。
