This place is amazing. It's just a few minutes out of town, but worth the 10 minute drive. They are doing really important work, which should be supported. And from the perspective of experience, it's great. We had an incredibly informative and entertaining discussion about the birds. I highly recommend taking the time to visit (and also to donate to help them with their efforts).

Great place to get an explanation of the birds of prey in nature and also the opportunity to hold some or take a picture with them! Speak English and German well. The falconer also knows the Dutch name of many birds of prey.
You can have a drink and take the time to explain everything as well as possible. During the week they mainly give excursions to students in Croatian and on weekends it is for everyone. They switch from Croatian to English during the explanation
And everything is told in a funny way so definitely fun for children to find out about these birds of prey in a funny way. Admission is 10 euros for adults

The visit to this center was a truly unique experience: it is not the show you might find in a zoo but a moment dedicated to the discovery of these animals while respecting their uniqueness.
Volunteers illustrate in a nice and genuine way the characteristics of the animals trying to involve everyone present even if of different languages. The amount of the entrance fee is donated to the care of birds of prey often victims of man.
Experience suitable for both children and adolescents.. I am convinced that adults will also discover a fascinating world

It was closed. But there was no indication of this anywhere. Neither here in the app nor at the entrance. So I march up the long driveway to register at the café when a large German shepherd, not on a leash, comes up to me and barks threateningly at me. When I confront the guy about it, he says it's closed, as if that's a justification, and when I ask him to please put the dog on a leash so that I can move around unmolested, he says again, why is it closed, "darling"? Yes, that's what they say here in Croatia.

A really beautiful place, with very nice people and detailed presentations and explanations of the birds of prey. A must see especially for children.

we met Emilo and his staff by consulting a lonely planet guide... given our passion for birds of prey we decided to visit the Sokolarski centre. we were enchanted by the love that these guys put into taking care of these animals, who are often victims of road accidents or human wickedness. for over 1 hour they explained everything about birds of prey and their centre. price: 10 euros each. inside the center there are also bars and services. I really recommend this visit to everyone. It was nice to contribute in a small way to the maintenance of this wonderful structure

After reading the other reviews, we visited the center. A fantastic experience where you can see the birds of prey up close. The prices are very reasonable (€10 for an adult, €7 for a child).
There are about ten birds of prey in houses, which you can view up close. There is a tour every full hour, where you will receive a humorous and educational explanation from enthusiastic employees. You also get the chance to pose with an eagle owl and a falcon.
The tour takes about an hour. Our drive there and back took twice as long, but we would do it again! Highly recommended, located in a shady nature reserve with the option of enjoying a terrace at a reasonable price. Visit the site for opening hours so you don't drive there for nothing (only open a few days a week for a few hours).

En croisant par hasard un panneau indiquant le centre, nous avons décidé de nous y arrêter avec ma bien aimée. Quelle merveilleuse décision ce fut !!! ! Rien à voir avec un zoo, ce sont deux soigneurs qui s’occupent de faucons, aigles, hiboux… tous blessés ou incapables de survivre dans leur habitat naturel. Ces rapaces seront soit réintroduits dans la nature (dans le cas ou ils sont seulement blessés) ou bien protégés s’ils en sont incapables (car « apprivoisés » par des hommes peu futés…). Pour seulement 10€ par personne, nous avons eu droit à 1h30 d’explications passionnantes données par un soigneur passionné (encore merci à lui). Ce dernier nous a permis de câliner avec la tête un hibou Grand Duc, et de nourrir un petit faucon (coucou Billy the Kid)!
Nous sommes ressortis de ce lieu grandis, enrichis de connaissances avec des étoiles plein les yeux 🤩
Si vous êtes de passage au parc de Krka, c’est un MUST !

It's 45 KN (cca. 6 EUR) for an adult and 35 KN (4,50 EUR) for a child... We paid for 2 adult and one ticket for kids. And we are a family of four.
And as I remember they don't accept cards...
