Magical place. Bassam gave us a full explanation of the history of the family and we got a great experience of creating our own pottery
We really recommend to visit
Magical place. We arrived as a family with children and were warmly welcomed by Bassam who patiently and kindly guided us through a complete pottery workshop. Explanations about the family history and the technique and experience in pottery.
We had a very special experience and the children were very enthusiastic. We recommend coming wholeheartedly!

The must-visit place in Nazareth combines art, history, legacy, and fascinating family stories.
This family-run pottery has a long history; it started in 1919 and has continued to operate until now.
We spent a lovely Saturday morning at the pottery. At first, we were greeted by Basem with coffee, and he gave us an introduction to the ancient history of pottery and the fascinating story of the founder of pottery, his grandfather. Took us on a tour to see the machines and the products, and then showed us the process of making them in the workshop. We learned techniques for making a bowl, drawings, and various shapes. And had fun working with the clay.
They hosted us perfectly, explained in a very interesting way, answered questions, shared the story of the family, listened, and guided us through the workshop.
I am a resident of Nazareth, and it was my first time in the pottery. Too bad I didn't participate before. I think it's a must-do activity for everyone visiting Nazareth, especially tourists who want to taste and feel the local history and culture

My spouse and I spent a lovely afternoon with our great host Basem. Our gracious host offered us coffee and proceeded to enthusiastically explained about the long history of clay and ceramics while weaving in his family’s history.
After the introduction, we were led to a workshop with many interesting machines and Basem told us the story of each and demonstrated the techniques. We also got a thorough explanation of how clay is made.
Then came the third stage and we got to experiment with the clay and create our souvenirs.
We again got pampered with wonderful hospitality: tea and baflut.
We also bought some special pottery for our plants.
Thank you, we will come again.

The Musmar brothers leads a family traditional pottery, going back three generations to the end of the 19th century.
Our visit was extremely fun and joyful. We got to taste amazing black coffee, listened to the Musmar family story from Basem and than, got to the best part: play with the raw material and creating our own memorabilia. WOW!
Thanks for that!!!

Well Nazareth is revolved around ancient and authentic traditions and this place is no exception! The place provides guides for creating pottery (the old way), allows you to purchase any of the authentic items for a really plausible price and the people are very kind!
