Excellent hike, easy to follow trails and great ending. There is a waterfall, cave and cavern at end of hike. Easy to find off of highway 43, large parking area and has restrooms at trailhead. Well worth it, better hikes we did in Arkansas.

Absolutely beautiful and amazing! The water falls were flowing and the whole area was amazing! The bluffs were unbelievable and under the rock overhang evidence was found from 2,000 years ago…. Items recovered by University of Arkansas.

Moderately difficult trail with uphill/downhill, rocky portions as well as stone steps. We saw very little water...a trickle coming out of the cave. Nice fall hike. We saw 2 Copperhead snakes. Not very crowded at all mid-week. Nice bathrooms at trail entrance.

Beautiful hike that captured the many elements of the hollow area. First half mile was east, following by rocky up and down hike to the cave.

Nice parking area. Pit toilet for needs. Picnic tables available too. Nice easy gravel path for a short while then it gets tricky (uneven, rocky, and many stairs). All pf it worth it. Beautiful area. Make sure you have good flash light (we didn't). Apparently if you do a little spelunking, there is another waterfall deep inside the cave.

We thought this trail was super easy at first. When we got to the natural bridge area we found out that the trail was moderately challenging with lots of rock steps and some climbing over rocks.
Cob Cave is huge and beautiful, go down in it and enjoy the cooler air. Eden Falls is pretty. We did not have head lamps so we did not explore Eden Falls Cave beyond the entrance.
We heard that if you crawl further back there is a waterfall.

Loved this trail! The scenery was absolutely beautiful! It starts easy but then gets pretty hard with lots of climbing but so worth it!!

The trail starts out easy, but gets steeper and more challenging as you approach Eden Falls and Eden Cave. In December, the creek was dry and there was only a trickle at the waterfalls, but it was still beautiful and there were no crowds. We especially loved exploring Eden Cave with flashlights.

Unexpected jewel in a remote part of NW, AR. We were heading back from Whitacre Point and learned about this stop. It was a surprisingly incredible jaunt thru wooded forests and dry water ways. Sadly, the area is experiencing a drought so not much water, but it gave me a chance to walk the creek bed versus the actual trails to get to the cave. Once to the cave, it takes some guts and flexibility to get to the final opening. It can get claustrophobic as well.

This trail is easy for the whole family. Most of the trail is very clear and wide enough for multiple people. This trail was by far the busiest that I went to out of about 4 in the area. There is a large parking lot and bathrooms at the beginning of the trail. The trail also has benches and markers with information on the sites.
When we went, (October) there was no water really flowing in the river area beside the trails and the waterfalls were barely flowing as well, but the sites were still fun and different to see.
This trail offers a few different options on things to see all at one place. The caves and tall rock formations were interesting to see. The little area by the bigger falls was nice to walk down to, but still not much water to be seen.
If you’re looking for a fairly easy hike, that will still allow you to see things, get some nature and exercise in, and don’t mind others hiking along side of you, this is the place for you!

I am visiting my son (age 22) and I am wanting to know the difficulty level of this hike (age 57), and asking if there are any precarious heights or ledges, and regarding the cave - how difficult is it to get through to the other side (claustrophobic, etc). Thanks!

It’s not a particular time of year they just have to have a lot of rain. You can follow the Buffalo Outdoor center to give you water levels and rain amounts. There are so many beautiful views worth seeing.

When it talks about crawling through part ofcave to get to waterfall- how long are we talking? Is it claustrophobic? Tight space? Thanks
Escrita el 6 de abril de 2018
It was tight. I hit my head going through. I would not recommend it.

We are planning to do the Lost Valley Hiking Trail. We'd like to do some swimming or floating in our tubes. Any spots on this trail or nearby?
Escrita el 13 de junio de 2016
The trail is for hiking only and is a must see. The Buffalo River is nearby and great for swimming, canoeing and tubing. It is a beautiful river and you will not be disappointed.

How difficult is the trail? Would a 5 and 8 year old be able to handle it?
Escrita el 13 de diciembre de 2015
Yes...they'd love it! Take drinks and snacks and help them on the steep parts. But I wouldn't take them above Eden Falls to the cave above it...I was there yesterday...so steep and a 70 foot drop! Just getting to Cob Cave ( cross the creek and go sit in it....amazing...imagine people there 2000 years ago...) and The big Eden Falls is beautiful! They'll love it.

I am floating the lower part of the buffalo river in a couple of weeks, and was wondering if there was any fun hikes that I could park the canoe at and hike?
I know that Whitaker point is somewhere in that area but wast sure where exactly. I'm looking for caves, waterfalls, bluffs....

If you stop at Kyle's Landing, it's pretty close to the Twin Waterfalls. Beautiful location
