Angel & Jared were beyond great! Really, this was my boyfriend’s and my first time ever Zip lining and they were super encouraging and just made myself and my boyfriend feel super comfortable being 250ft off the ground. They’re awesome, if you ever get a chance to zip line here I hope you get Angel and Jared as your guides. The place is beautiful and we learned a lot thanks to them!

I had a mother daughter weekend and decided to try this! I’m so glad I did. Our guides Ayden and Angel were amazing! Kept us laughing helped my fears. My daughter wants to go back. We did the fast one with 7 zip lines, walkways and would do it again. Took hours but did not feel like it. Well worth the money. Thank you guys!!!

Fantastic experience - even in the rain. The guides were kind, funny, and informative and took our safety seriously. Our group included adults and children ages 10 and 13 and we all had a great time. It was quiet and beautiful up in the trees. And then exhilarating on the Ziplines!

We have ziplined in Costa Rica (Arenal rain forest -2010), New Zealand (Adrenaline Forest 2009), Maui (Wailuku, Hawaii 2016), and Oahu (Kahuku, Hawaii 2021). They are all fun and beautiful and the different landscapes are breath-taking. The experience at Sonoma Ziplines raised the bar even further - the redwood forest ziplines at Sonoma Ziplines are amazing - we had rain and fog and while at first that sound like a negative, it added so much more the the adventure. We had ziplining going through fog and rain - it was a total BLAST. The guides Bruce and Dan were fun and upbeat and simply enhanced the experience. We did this as a birthday gift to my sister-in-law and her boyfriend and they described it succinctly as 'over-the-top'. I highly recommend Sonoma Zipline adventures!

This was an excellent adventure! Everyone was so kind and supportive and knowledgeable about zip lining, the forest, and the trees. I was scared to go ziplining, but the team made me feel safe and guided me through the course with fun and encouragement. The views were incredible. If you want to see a redwood forest in a new and beautiful way, Sonoma Zipline Adventures is the place to go. 100 out of 10 stars!

This is sooooo awesome. You zip through the trees and land on platforms on the tops of the trees. It is such a rush.

Wow! I am still on a high from yesterday's Tree Tops adventure (pun intended). At the beginning, I was nervous, but the beauty of the forest and the fun of zipping quickly put me at ease. I was very impressed with the processes that ensured our safety and the care by our guides, Aidan and Dan, to keep us safe; even though there was much laughter and talking, our guides were ALWAYS focused on the equipment. Our group developed a fast camaraderie, which was really nice.
Being up in those peaceful treetops was incomparable, and I plan to go again in future. I highly recommend, *as long as you are comfortable with heights*. This is not for the meek, but if you are feeling brave, it is so worth it.

My husband and I went to the Sonoma in Zipline Adventures for our 10 year anniversary and couldn’t be happier. We had an amazing time. We stayed in the treehouse and it was awe-inspiring to be able to zip line from right outside of your room. There are 14 zip lines in total; we did seven the day we arrived and seven the following day. There were also suspension bridges, spiral staircases, and a chance to repel down at the end. It was an overall amazing experience. Josh, Sebastian and Brady were our tour guides. They did amazing, and I highly recommend requesting one or two of them. Josh was our lead guide and was extremely informative. We learned so much about the forest and the redwoods We also learned a few things about the Bible. This is a nonprofit Christian-based business. There are Bible verses spread throughout the park and inspirational quotes as well. We did a scavenger hunt and walked a trail to wander and ponder. The treehouse it’s self was beautiful and very clean. It had a toilet and running water. The bed was pretty comfortable, as well as the pillows. As soon as we finished our first round of zip lines, and headed into our treehouse, there was a delicious charcuterie board waiting for us. They also had games and a deck of cards that we got to keep as souvenirs. My husband and I brought our own bottle of wine and drink that as we wandered the property and waited for dinner. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend going.

I did the Forest Flight tour with my mom, neither of us had been ziplining before so we wanted to start off with the “easier” one. It was SO much fun!! Omg. The views were incredible. The weather was great, it was sunny most of the time but we also got a little rain at the end which made it super magical!
Our guides were Josh and Dan and they were both hilarious and awesome! They made the whole experience extra fun!
We will definitely be going back to do the Tree Tops tour and the nighttime tour!

Hi Debbie! Their website's FAQ says "Each participant must be 10 years old and weigh a minimum of 70 pounds up to a maximum of 250 pounds. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/adult on the Canopy Tour experience. Sonoma Canopy Tours is designed for participants in reasonably good health."
I've Zip lined in Costa Tics twice at 73. I am 75 now.
I weigh 180 and in good health but have left weak knee.
My boyfriend is 78 and in good health.
I am a little concern w bridges and rappel down.
Do you have any videos of Canopy Tours in Sonoma Redwoods? So I can see the full extent of the experience. RoseMarie

Video is too big a file but it's all very gentle landing and the bridges aren't too wobbly. You would be fine

I went zip lining for the first time in North Carolina with 2 college friends because we were all celebrating our 70th birthdays. I am not 71 and fairly active so I was wondering which tour is better for someone my age. Would you recommend the Forest Flight or the Tree Tops tour?

We did 'Tree Tops', which is the best, although it does include some stairs and one pretty fast/abrupt landing [just keep your head to the far right or left and you'll be fine. Super amazing, you'll have a blast!!!

Hi, I am afraid of heights, but would so love to be able to do the zip line. Not so sure about the bridges. Can you skip the bridges?

You can't skip the bridges. We had a person in our group that was really afraid of heights and he had problems way before we got to the bridges. He didn't have trouble with the bridges. I think each person is different, you have to know yourself and how severe your fear is. Sounds like people here who have a fear of heights pushed through it. The guy in our group wanted to leave after the second tree and that didn't end. It is definitely a great experience. Not trying to scare you - you just have to know yourself.
is it fun?!?

Do you have to be strong to do this? I've been sick this year and although I'm well now, I'm still pretty weak.
Thanks,

I'm an overweight middle age woman and I did it. On the more challenging bridges, there was an easier option. I did all the hard ones except for one. I say, go for it!

Anyway to only participate in the junior lines and skip advanced ones? Also, are there soft/passive brakes that help slow the landing as we approach the platforms. Thank you

There was not a "junior course". Only the Classic and Challenge courses. The minimum weight for someone to zipline is 70 lbs. We were paired with an Asian family of 3. One of the zips had a dip in it where your weight really helped get you to the other side. Our guide gave the young Asian girl the option to tandem zip with him across which was pretty neat. As far as braking, you wear heavy leather gloves while zipping. Your dominant hand has an extra layer of leather which is used to apply pressure to the cable to break. You will do a test zip on a short 10 foot long cable on the ground which is helpful. Hope this helps!
Will you pick up and drop off at Sonoma County Airport?
