When in Durango you must visit Dean and Maddy and try Dean's wines. He has a great range of tastes from dry to semi-sweet to sweet. We normaly drink dry reds. However we walked out with 2 dry and 4 semi-sweet. Great place wonderful people. Very pro-military offering a discount to vets. Thanks Dean

Dean and his wife are such wonderful people! The ambiance is cozy and welcoming. Their wine is yummy and colorful. Highly recommend my personal favorite the Peach Chardonnay (everyone must love it, as they were sold out on 12/2/23). I was told the next batch would be done in early January. I know what my January birthday family is getting as a gift!!

I really enjoyed the wine. I tasted 5 wines and they were all very good.
I also ordered the hummus plate, it was delicious.

Went to Durango for niece's college graduation. Got to visit Four Leaves during our time there. So glad we did! Did a couple of tastings and ordered food. Absolutely wonderful experience. Their wine is so good! Most Colorado wine we have tried has been fruity and not great. Four Leaves is by far the best - so much so that we ended up buying 2 cases to bring home! Excellent location right downtown Durango. Glad our niece took a job in Durango so we can go back to visit!

We visited Four Leaves Winery for an afternoon activity in the midst of a snow storm. With ony one other couple there, we had a very quiet and relaxed afternoon for a tasting. We each chose four selections and a full glass of one. Our favorites were the malbec and tempranillo. We purchased a bottle of the malbec to take home. During our tasting, we had a nice conversation with the owner which enhanced our experience. We much enjoyed our afternoon at Four Leaves Winery and will certainly pay another visit to check out the new patio when the weather allows!

We did a tasting of the various wines available and then bought 2 bottles of the Viognier. The froze is very refreshing on a hot day. The staff is great and then have fun accessories. Veteran owned.

I am always excited to try new wines/wineries, so while we were in Durango had to try this one. The owner was pouring and enjoyed visiting with him about their story and their approach to winemaking. I was anxious to try their fruity wines, but they were too sweet for my taste. The jewel that I found was the Barbera. I had not ever tried this varietal before. I bought one bottle and opened it when got back home to Texas. I was wishing I would have bought several more bottles. One of the things I appreciate about this winery is that the wines are more moderately priced. The price of wines here in Texas have gone up considerably (especially reds). Overall, it was nice experience. They have nice variety of wines for all tastes.

The owner, Dean, was here serving everyone solo, and he was amazing! Super friendly and inviting place. We did the 4 samples and a glass tasting. Pinot Noir, peach Chardonnay, Black Cherry Pinot Noir, and the Chocolate Raspberry Port were all phenomenal!
We ended up asking Dean a bunch of questions and he was super happy to answer everything. 100% recommend this place! He’s a great guy and a great winery!

We like to try local wineries wherever we travel. We made sure they were open on the day we decided to check out the Durango downtown area. The winery is very nice inside; wasn't too crowded. Wife and I each did the 3 wine tastes (sampled each others choices too) for $7 each. We tend to like the fruit/sweet winces more, so, between the two of us, we sampled most of them. Lot of good wines to choose from, but at $20/bottle, we decided to each choose just one to take home. I really liked the Green Apple Riesling; wife chose the Blackberry Merlot. Will surely stop by again if in the neighborhood.
We would have bought at least two more if they had waived the sampling charges for buying more bottles, as we've seen many wineries do. I get that you need to cover the costs of people just coming in to sample, but if you want to encourage people to buy more bottles, ... Just saying; its a good strategy to sell more product.
