I typically shop at the Bullmoose in Portsmouth because I've been going there for years, but I went to the Scarborough Bullmoose to find a certain Leon Russell CD. This store is three times the size of the one in Portsmouth, with an incredible choice of new and used CDs, vinyl, DVDs, games, etc. The store employees are great at helping you find whatever you're looking for. You could spend hours browsing here.

Bull Moose Music is in the Payne Road Plaza which is directly across from Scarborough Gallery on Gallery Blvd.
After dining at the Texas Roadhouse across the road in Scarborough Gallery, we visited Bull Moose Music.
This store is about 25% larger than the one in Portsmouth, NH and about 33% larger than the one in Sanford, ME.
On our visit, we found a great section of new and used CD’s, a good selection of vinyl, movies, video games, board games, books for all ages, toys, and gifts.
Whimsical items of interest were the Finger Cats. There were four different ones – a tuxedo cat, a butterscotch and white tabby, a gray, and a Siamese. They were very cute and only $1.97 each.
The store was well-stocked with video games for every platform.
There was a poster announcing that they planned to have Maine native Stephen King’s latest novel “The Outsider” in stock at a discount on May 22nd.
We rate Bull Moose Music at 5.0 and recommend a visit.
