I started fishing with Saiff Charters over 30 years ago. If I wasn't happy with them, I wouldn't keep coming back.
Their equipment is first class, as are all the captains and mates. Safety is prime in their operation, and as soon as you leave the dock you'll receive a very thorough safety briefing.
Lake Ontario is a wonderful fishery. This past weekend my friends and I caught King Salmon and Lake Trout. My largest salmon weighed 22 pounds.
Upon returning to the dock, there are people there to clean or fillet your catch, and they do a wonderful job.
Whether you're a novice, or a seasoned angler, give Saiff Charters a try...you won't be disappointed.

Capt. Chris and Swabee Andy treated us right. They did say, "in swells like this we usually lose customers to sea-sickness!" It was rather sporty. We landed 8 of the 11 fish we hooked (all our fault :-0) and went home happy with a cooler full!! Well worth the money - I highly recommend this crew!

Capt. Dave and First Mate Mike took us out today and we were immediately on fish! My father, husband, 8-year-old son, and I all had a wonderful time on the 6-hour trip. This will most certainly be an annual event when we are in the area visiting family. Bill Saiff and his 8-boat crew are safe, classy and knowledgeable, and we're great with our son.

Recently my Husband, Son and I had the" Time of our Life" fishing with Bill Saiff . We decided to Charter a fishing trip while we were camping in Henderson Harbor. There are several Charter companies to choose from in the area but we definitely picked the best . We took a half day trip which consisted of 6 full hours of fishing with Saiff Charters. Bill does not count the time it takes to get to your fishing destinations on Lake Ontario.You get 6 full fishing hours on the boat. Bill knows all the spots on the lake where the fish are running. His boat was not only clean and comfortable but it also had the latest "Fish Finder" equipment.
Bill and his mate Jerry take care of everything for you. Rods were set up and ready to be reeled in when you had a bite. The fact that I had never fished before was a true delight for Bill. From the moment we stepped aboard his boat he said "Boy are we gonna have fun with you!" And fun is what we truly had. I had the honor of reeling in the first fish, a beautiful Lake Trout. My son reeled in the second, and my husband the third.We proceeded to catch 10 beautiful Lake Trout. Bill then relocated us to a spot where we would try for Brown Trout.
We caught 1 big one. During the trip Bill entertained us with some of the funniest stories, jokes,and some of his "True Life" fish stories. He educated us about the different types of fish , and he knew every trick to catch them.
Bill had his own T.V. fishing program called "Rod and Reel". We really felt like we were fishing with a legend. He is a gentlemen who genuinely loves what he does and wants his guests aboard his boat to love it too! He gives his all to you and makes sure you are having a great time. He is warm and hospitable. By the end of your trip you feel like you have made a great new friend.
Upon returning to the marina Saiff Charters has a display board where they hang up all the fish you caught. You get to take pictures and proudly display your catch. The marina has a fella who will clean your fish for $2.00 a piece. This is a great convenience
and well worth the money. You can purchase zip locks at the marina and they will package them up for you. They will even freeze some for you if you are not leaving the area right away and you can pick them up when you you are heading home.
Now here is a really great perk...Bill"s son owns a restaurant inn right across the street from the Marina For $7.99, They will cook your fresh caught fish anyway you want and serve you delicious onion rings sweet potato fries or french fries,great tarter sauce, cocktail sauce, and an amazing horseradish marmalade sauce that is Bills wifes recipe. The inn was comfortable friendly and everything was prepared to a tee. Definitely Delish!!
We can"t say enough good things about Saiff Charters. They were professional while making sure we had an incredible time. When in Henderson Harbor make sure you take a fishing trip with Bill, you won't be disappointed. We highly recommend "FISHING THE SAIFF WAY!.
