What a pleasant shop:)
We felt very much at home, the lady running the place was very pleasant, friendly, and super-helpful.
We had lunch, a cheese plate, and the we worked on a nail and string art piece.
Lunch was a ham and cheese, lettuce and honey mustard wrap. It was great- i really loved the honey mustard.
My daughter ordered the turkey, spinach, cheese and honey mustard wrap, but she was too interested in the upcoming art to finish her meal :)
The cheese plate was the best. Applies, nuts, crackers, cheese!
cheeses we chose- Gruyere , Manchego, and goat cheese w/ blueberry compote on top.
Manchego is a spanish sheep's milk cheese, not everyone will like it- but if you're into fancy imported cheese, you gotta try Manchego.
The goat cheese w blueberry was so awesome, some of that on a cracker with an apple slice! Amazing flavor and texture!
The bar was well stocked with an array of types of flavors and beers-
My daughter really loved being able to paint the board first, and nail, and arrange the strings in a pattern.
The lady gave us a basic instruction sheet and all the supplies, and my kid got started really quickly- she loved it.
There are many different types of art projects to do, and most looked easy enough for anyone to do.
The lady was really nice, atmosphere was very classy, but still like home:)

I had a great time at Main Street Crafts and Drafts making this awesome NYS string art. I like to craft but not at home it's such a pain to get everything together, first figuring out a project to do then having the supplies to do it. MSCAD takes the leg work out of it and no appointment is needed. Walk in, pick out a project and they will set you up with everything you need right at your table. They have several different options, from painting signs to jewelry making to glass etching. Beverage included with each project. They also have wraps and cheese platters. Beverage prices are very reasonable.
