I've come for a few comedy shows. They've been maybe 60% below average, 40% worth it. That said, the pub side is fun and inexpensive, the atmosphere is very cozy, and it's a nice way to stay local on a Friday night.

I visited Sackets Harbor with my boyfriend and we decided to go to this comedy club that night. It was awesome! Definitely a cozy feel to it, and the food was delicious! It is a great place to go to get in a good laugh and relax.

Both comedians were very funny. The night we went there was a storm and the power went out. They filled the entire room with candles and the show went on. The ambiance was great, and both comedians never faltered under the circumstances and even worked it into their comedy.

I've been to the playhouse a few times....never a disappointment in the acts. Hope to go back this coming weekend!

We traveled to Sackets Harbor this past weekend for a relaxing getaway. The Comedy club just filled the bill for us. First visit to this type of business . So glad we went. Tickets were $10 each for fall special. Beautiful building fitting the town. You just felt like you were stepping back in time. Alcohol and light foods were available. They started seating just after 8:30. Walking thru to back felt like we were transported back in time. 2 comedians. And lots of laughs. Show ended about 11pm. Recommend anyone over 18 to go to this venue as it was a carefree evening of entertainment.

The owners have made a tremendous committment to keeping the performing arts alive and well in this beautiful village. I have attended professional performances and comedy clubs. Kudos to the Kinnie's for sharing their passion!!!

A place that used to be a rocking good time has declined a bit. Last time we went, the show was over priced and underwhelming. The bar was out of some pretty common alcohols. I hope they get right as the weather warms...

Not only is it a comedy club but it has an amazing little bar and spacious lounge type in case after the giggles you wanna hang out with the comedians! It is also right at the little heart of sackets harbor where you are walking distance of other fun places.

My husband & I went to the Lake Ontario Playhouse last week end. It is a 2 hour drive for us but we have friends that highly recommended it. What a FABULOUS time we had!! The building itself is quaint & the comedy is just what the Dr. ordered! the 2 Comedians made us laugh so hard we were crying! Had a little bit to eat while we watched the acts. (food is great) The place is a bit dark. The town itself is a a beauty! We are going back again & this time spending the night & check out all that is offered there in this little town. Each week end is someone new so I would certainly drive again to attend! You must give this one a try!
