I usually have a pleasant stay at Long Point State Park. Our trip in July 2020 was not so good. Due to COVID-19 check in times were later and check out times were earlier so the staff had more time to clean sites and restrooms. Our site was only mowed but that was ok, we had no problem with that. However the restrooms were never cleaned for 6 days. The restrooms at NYS parks aren’t cleaned the best but this was the worst. Especially with COVID-19. If the COVID-19 virus is still around for our next NYS campground stay, I may forgo the trip.

Wanted a quick camping trip Pretty park flat sites we are tent campers. Bathrooms clean, water on both sides. Bu it must have the world's largest bullfrogs. We saw a pair pf osprey right outside the park. Both firewood and ice were reasonable. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The sunsets were spectacular.

We stayed in 2 state parks here...Kring and Grassy Point...both were fabulous...clean bathrrooms and wide open sites...wonderful small towns nearby all with good food options...the rive is gorgeous...we rented a pontoon boat one day and it was a perfect day.

Très beau terrain de camping avec vue sur le lac Ontario. Super coucher de soleil. Grand terrain en gazon (#67). Attention!! les toilettes et les douches sont dégoûtantes. Personne n'utilise de produits pour nettoyer, personne ne lave le plancher. Les toilettes et les douches sont horribles (dirty). 1 des 2 bâtiments est récent, mais l'entretien est déficient. La gérance du parc n'est pas bonne. Ils font le gazon à outrance mais les salles de bains ne sont pas nettoyés. L'homme qui semble être en charge et qui conduit le Ford F150 vert s'adresse aux gens en baveux et n'est pas sympathique. La femme blonde dans la cinquantaaine à la gate ne l'est pas elle non plus. D'ailleurs, la gate ferme à 3H45 pm. Donc, impossible d'acheter de la glace et du bois dépassé cette heure. Et tout le personnel du parc a déserté. Plus aucune surveillance. Le dernier soir, un groupe d'amis sont arrivés et ont mis de la musique toute la nuit, empêchant les autres campeurs de dormir.
En quittant le terrain de Long Point, nous sommes allés au terrain de Roger Moses dans les milles iles (state park aussi). L'accueil était bien et les toilettes et douches étaient propres. Ils étaient 3 à nettoyer avec des produits et ont lavés planchers, toilettes et murs. C'était très propres.

I enjoyed this state park, thanks for being able to walk around the lake. That was fun and I certainly enjoyed the fresh breeze. There was a small marina as well.
There were a lot of tents and campers. Many had brought some floating devices to be used on the lake.
By the way, this state park is very quiet.
It's quite worthwhile to visit! We stayed here for less than an hour.

We spent the weekend when we had reservations to go rafting in Watertown and I couldn't have been happier with the campground.
Right when we got set up, I swam right on the edge of our campsite. We fished right from our site. The campground is well populated on weekends but near empty on Sunday night. The staff is nice and fairly relaxed.
Campsites are a little too tight but overall we had such a wonderful time.

You are either lost or you mapped the directions. This place is easily one of the most hidden parks in the state. It is small with plenty of water front, big playground, boat docks, many camping slots, and a very nice pavilion. If you want to be a place away from the fast pace life, this is the campground.

We've camped here with friends several times over the years. Beautiful park and even when it's busy, it's still relatively quiet and peaceful. Also, since it's on a point there is almost always a breeze and, therefore, very little bugs which is always a plus! Our favorite sites are #3-7 because you can sit on the rocks across the road to enjoy the sunset or float in the water on a hot day. The water is clear along the shore and you don't encounter seaweed until you're about 15-20 feet offshore. The restrooms & showers are clean. The park is approx. 40 mins. from Alex Bay. They also have docks you can rent for $10/day but it doesn't cost anything to just use the boat launch. They recently put in a huge playground for kids.
The only drawback for me is the sink provided to wash your dishes (we're tent campers). The sink is dirty and it looks like they tried to patch a porcelain sink with the wrong type of compound.
