This was a fun, informative family outing. Docents were very informative and helpful. Easy to book tickets. Had a lot of fun and learned a few things about turtle rescue

Would recommend. Make sure to adopt a sea turtle while you are there. Especially great for the young children.

Visited this awesome turtle hospital with my daughter and granddaughters. We all learned so much, the volunteer guide shared a lot of interesting information. This is a very popular destination, we visited in the summer and had to get our tickets a couple of days in advance as there are limits to the number of people allowed in a group.

My husband and I took our three young children to the Rescue center. The tour lasted about an hour (I was told it would be 45 min). Some of the info on the tour might be slightly boring for kids 5 and under, but it was all worth it because at the end they let you see the turtles in the turtle bay. My 8 year old son said he might want to be a marine biologist like our tour guide some day. Very educational and inspiring....

My wife planned a vacation at the coast, and was looking for something the grandkids would enjoy. The Turtle Rescue on paper looked great, and it didn't disappoint in person. We had three generations of family together, and all enjoyed. Colton was our guide, and he was thoughtful and knowledgeable.

Loved our visit to Beasley. The information about the rehab was excellent and informative. The turtles were so amazing and i can’t wait to return. Staff was super friendly and answered all our questions. We did need an appointment to visit and they only allow 10 guests per group which run about every 10 minutes. The tour is about 45 minutes long and there are approximately 15-20 turtles. Can’t wait to return!

The Turtle Rescue provides great information and education about the sea turtles for adults and children alike. I loved learning how the turtles lay their eggs, how volunteers work to protect the eggs and the hatchlings from the natural predators, and especially seeing the injured turtles both being "doctored" by the volunteers and swimming in their individual pools. It was interesting to learn the stories behind their various injuries and their prognoses for being released back to the sea. Don't miss this!

They do amazing work here! It's a sea turtle hospital that is open to visitors - if you didn't love sea turtles before you came here, you will when you leave!

I've heard of long lines here, but we went in the off season and it wasn't bad at all. We waited maybe 15 minutes to get in, and then were moved from station to station through the facility. Volunteers at each informative station helped explain to us about turtles, the facility, and keeping our oceans clean. we brought several children from our extended family of different ages, who remained fairly engaged. The volunteers were patient and helpful in answering questions. The highlight of course was viewing the turtles. Since we went on a day that wasn't terribly crowded we were able to somewhat take our time in viewing the turtles. They are so cool! Cost to get in was quite reasonable and for a great cause. Staff were friendly, patient and helpful. Restrooms were clean. Gift shop is large and well stocked with souvenirs. A must stop for anyone vacationing at Topsail!
