Great fun! Sorry it’s finishing on 21st April! Alli was a great host, and we all managed to get it completed! Amazing the puzzles stored inside that box. Would recommend doing it and would definitely do another online one if they’re done in a post-COVID world!

Imaginative, well-designed and well-explained (thanks Ali). It was suitable for adults of all ages. Our group of 5 was entertained for an hour for £37.

Organised for my 14 year old nephew’s birthday in lockdown. We were a group of 5 in two locations and each of us managed to join in and work together. We had a fantastic time and Emma was a great host. Would definitely recommend!

Picked at random on google because of the good reviews. I’m so glad I did! Group of 6 - 2 adults and 4 teenagers in half term lockdown. Really good fun and soooo well orchestrated. Thank you Emma for a fabulous afternoon. 😍

What a great way to spend a snowy afternoon in lockdown! Six of us (all seniors) thoroughly enjoyed our game and were delighted to "solve" the puzzle in 53 minutes and 8 seconds.

I played the virtual ‘crime of the century’ escape room over zoom with my family. It was for my dad’s birthday who loves an escape room. We’ve done a few virtual escape rooms (and live ones pre-lockdown) and this is one of the best. I won’t say much so not to give it away but it was very well done. The closest you’ll get to a live escape room over zoom. The communication with the host before the event was great. The whole family (ranging from 17 to 70) really enjoyed it.

It's my birthday today (Lockdown birthday! Yey!) and so we booked a virtual escape room with ClueCrypted for myself, my husband and our three kids aged 13, 11 and 9, I love an escape room so was curious as so how it would work virtually. The answer to that was that it works fantastically well! Gemma was an excellent Games Master, and we managed to solve the Crime Of The Century with 12 minutes to spare. This was a first escape room experience for my sons aged 9 and 11, and they absolutely loved it! We will be looking for more virtual escape rooms to keep us sane during lockdown #3! Thank you so much Gemma. We will definitely be in to visit you when you re-open.

We really loved doing the "Crime of the Century" escape room. Emma was a great host and the concept worked really well. It was nice to see physical objects to open etc and it was really well done. We were in 2 locations and included a 10 and 12 year old who enjoyed it as well. Overall really worth it 😀

We recently played a virtual/online escape room with our British relatives (we're from Canada) for our nephew's 16th birthday. It was brilliant! I had never done an escape room before (my husband had and most of the British clan had too). Emma was a wonderful Games Master! I was skeptical that it would be engaging on a virtual platform but our family thoroughly enjoyed it! Well done! (We did The Crime of the Century game over Zoom)

Is this suitable for children, ages 8 and 10 or would it be a bit too much?

Hi Colin.
The recommended minimum age for our escape room is 14 years of age. However, we are happy for younger children to participate in the experience under the supervision of a suitable adult. Whilst most of the puzzles would be too difficult for children aged 8 and 10, they would be able to help in the solving of some of the puzzles in the game.
