We went to Kia Ora over the bank hoilday weekend and what a fabulous place it is. We were had a warm welcome from the lady at the till and all the girls in the coffee shop. We went out to the farm and it was more then we imagined lots of tractors and bikes for people to use. We walked around the farm and it was wonderful to see how well the animals looked, the animals in the field all had big straw beds in there houses, the shed with all the rabbits, guinea pigs and birds all looked so happy and content with very clean cages which was great to see. All the staff in the shed were so friendly and chatty, clear to see they love the animals on the farm and treat them like there own.
The mini pumpkin was absolutely brilliant, the paths down to the photo scenes were a great idea and they had a great selection of pumpkins. The spider with the hair was my favourite! Lots of love place to take photos. The Halloween disco was so simple but so entertaining!
Overall a a really well looked after place, bathrooms were spotless all the play areas were all clean and well looked after and all for €10 per person you couldn’t go wrong!

Such a warm and welcoming place. There is activities for everyone in the family such as petting the bunnies in the petting area, mini pumpkin patch, real diggers, go karting, crazy football, spin in a real fire engine, sandpits, play areas and loads of animals to see. From the small animals like birds, chinchillas, rabbits and a friendly macaw to the large animalsike alpacas, emus, cows, goats. All animals so look so well looked after and very happy with spacious enclosures. Very clean and accessible to all. Very affordable as you can stay all day and no additional fees.

Went yesterday with my two children to see the animals and pumpkin patch. Amazing! I love what they have done with the place and the time and effort put into it is clear. It is a family run farm with such a variety of animals. The petting area is so clean and the animals look happy out. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The girl at the pumpkin patch was so kind to my kids and even cleaned up their pumpkin that they picked so they wouldn't get their clothes dirty carrying them to the car which was a nice touch and appreciated. The weather didn't stop us from having such a great day. We will be back again during Christmas and we are looking forward to it!

Animals including emus left out in freezing cold & torrential rain ( 2 fields had their shed doors closed preventing them escaping the weather.
Guinea pigs & rabbits housed together which any vet will tell you is not advised .

We love Kia Ora. Its Disneyland as far as my son is concerned. If ever he is asked where he'd like to go, he says Kia Ora. We come down from Dublin 5 or 6 times a year and we spend well over 6hrs in the place. I think its very reasonable and a great day out. Food is very good value, staff are friendly & efficient, toilets are clean and there is so much to do for a 6 year old. I cannot fault the place to be honest.

We went today the 3rd of October. A lovely lady greeted us on entry and for ten euro each we expected a LOT LOT less!
It has a family feel immediately and is simply authentic. Not super modern but you wouldn't and shouldn't expect that from a farm. Also, I would add... that's part of its charm. We actually thought it was PERFECT! We absolutely loved it! The concept is simple. It made for children to enjoy themselves in a practical way, not just visual; with a petting areas for bunnies, peddle go karts, diggers, maze, fire engine (with a sound driver), there are birds, a parrot, bunnies, cows, alpacas, reindeers, every version of hens, ostriches... We could barely fit it all in three hours and we weren't rushed out at 5pm when it was due to close.
I cannot understand any negative reviews as it's super affordable for what you get! Compare it to Dublin zoo if you must! Unless these people got bad weather and well... That's unfortunate.
On exit, I mentioned to the lady upon entry how brilliant it was! The fire engine driver was great and the young girl educated us on all the different animals and their names and details of each of the animals.
The owners and staff should be so proud to be part of something so special and authentic. A venue clearly run for the love of the animals and creating an environment for kids.
Thanks for an awesome day. We are coming back for the Christmas experience.

We visited with our 4 and 2 year old while staying in amber springs. The boys absolutely loved it. It's a brilliant place and the staff are all friendly and helpful and brilliant with the kids. Bring a picnic and easily spend a few hours here. Great wee spot.

Me and my family visited here for the first time last week and loved it. It was pretty quiet when we first arrived so the kids had their pick off what to do.
The mini diggers were great fun for them and they loved the fake cows to milk too.
My son is football mad and loved the football course. It was really difficult but a good laugh.
The maze was good fun too.
There is a good selection of animals too who all look very well looked after.
We didnt eat in the cafe but did get some snacks and drinks, which were all great and good value.
We loved the place!

Visited with 5 & 3 year old boys. Fantastic time. So much for the boys to do. They never stopped going for 2 mins. Stayed over 4hrs. 5 yr old just tall enough for the go carts. He was delighted with himself. 3yr old could go with me on a cart that holds 2. Great maze, play ground area and the lovely animals. Would highly recommend. Was the high light of our holiday in Gorey. Got lovely lunch also & lots of picnic benches. Toilets spotless also 😊

Fantastic day here, so much to see and do. Kids really enjoyed themselves loads of outdoor fun. Once you pay at the door that's it, not like other places where you have to pay extra for different activities. It was also a pleasure to have such helpful and friendly young staff, they seem like they enjoy working there! I loved it and will definitely be back..I genuinely do not understand the negative reviews by others.

Yes we love dogs. They must be kept on a lead for their safety and that of our animals.

Yes dogs are allowed as long as they are kept on a lead, admission is €8 each and includes all activities. We do have annual passes. Picnics are welcome and parking is free

Hi everyone, we have lots of adults who come on their own who are animal lovers and simply to visit the animals and take a walk around. We have had tour groups of Active Retirement and Corporate Groups who have come to the farm also or couples passing an afternoon. Some people even bring their dog which is perfectly fine with us as long as it is kept on a lead at the farm for its safety and that of our animals.
