The Luau entertainment was amazing, the show itself is stunning and mesmerising. Talented and beautiful entertainers.
The staff running things there were not engaged organised or considerate IMHO. Trying to get drinks from servers was a chore. QR Code never worked.
Also: we had preferred seating, and were told to go to the back of a very long line for entry, we second-guessed this because again we had preferred seating so assumed we should have got in first- but no they say, ALL of these other people also had preferred seating!!! So is it realllly special or "preferred" when more than HALF the attendants have the same seating??? Just ridiculous - 5 people in my party said the same. It was odd.
All of us also found the food there basic and not impressive at all. The prime rib was tough and chewy, macnut salad was tasteless, so was the fish, the teriyaki chicken was very nice, so was the brownie. Nothing else really stood out to me.
I would have enjoyed the show on its own without the added stress of entry, seating, low effort staff, and basic foods.

I love Disney but I now love Hawaii. This luau was really good. We had general admission seats but we got there early we were The 3rd family in general admission. We ended up with great seats. The welcome drink was really good fruity but had a fair amount of alcohol in it. Open bar so you could have adult beverages through out the show. The servers would bring them to you. Food was fantastic. Great entertainment the performer were great. Top notch would highly recommend it

Amazing show and display of talent. My whole family loved the show and it is worth watching . The price is so good for the time and effort of this amazing artist. Food was excellent!

This is one of the better luaus I have been to. We had a party of 17 for my birthday, and used preferred seating to get in early and have a table up front. There are stations to try different activities like getting ink "tattoos", making leis, grinding poi, etc. Plenty of photo ops, and the professional photos are included if you have preferred seating. The buffet is very good, and you can go back for more, and the price includes unlimited alcoholic beverages. The dancers and musicians were amazing, lots of storytelling.

This was one of the very best shows of any kind I’ve seen anywhere. All ages in our family found it so much fun. The stories were meaningful and beautifully told. The two central narrators, a brother and sister, told about their history with words and songs. We loved every minute of it. I’d recommend preferred seating. We were close to the main stage and were able to be seated early. Sweet flower bracelets, kukui nut necklaces, cute “Maui’s fish hook” necklaces for the kids. The food was okay. The kids options are slightly better than the adult menu in my opinion, but there was plenty to eat and it was certainly decent. You aren’t coming for the food as much as the experience itself, and that was honestly magical. We stayed at the Aulani, and the show was incredible! Do not miss this!.

We had a great time at the Luau. The food was good, the entertainment was great, and the location was very convenient. Is it Disney - yes, but not entirely. It’s at the Disney property, but Mikey only showed up for about 5 minutes. The show was all about Hawaii and its culture. I would recommend it if you are staying at Aulani. Just make sure you book it in advance.

The luau show was good. There was an open bar which some would find awesome. They poured a lot of drinks!

The luau was incredible. We paid for the premium seating. So we had really good seats. Although I do not think there are any bad seats. They had dancers all over the area. The music and performances were very well done. There is an emphasis on the history of Hawaiian culture which was awesome. The music was great! There were servers that were awesome, Keanu and Debbie. Keanu was great as we got started and Debbie was our server at our table. She was awesome to answer questions and get us anything we needed! It was also great to get to meet the cast and ask questions after the show was over.

Loved this luau! Just the right amount of Disney with spectacular Hawaiian performers and musicians!
They had a welcome drink for you upon arrival along with how to demos of poi making, ukulele playing, and lei making.
The open bar, amazing buffet, attentive staff and amazing performers made for a really amazing evening.
The band was incredible and the hula dancers were amazing!
Highly recommend.

We had a great time at this venue. They had an open bar provided you with a welcome drink and the food was delicious. It was buffet style and you were able to get in line by table which was nice so it wasn't overcrowded and didn't take long. It was very well organized in my opinion and was worth what we spent. I would recommend!

I believe there was! They were very accommodating so I couldn't see why they can't get you a high chair

Hi I just called Aulani to reserve for VIP but I can't justify 179.96$US I thought it's outrageous!!! Now we are planning on doing the regular ones. You mentioned that you were first in line, do they hand out tickets or assign table numbers for first people in line? We would like to sit at least in front behind the VIPs and not all the way at the back. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

we got there about 45 minutes before they open at 4;30 and we were about 5th party in line. we were seated right behind VIP section.
