I came to Grenada to enjoy myself for my birthday it was a late trip…and some of my friends was very much hyped about me going on this tour…saying it was very fun and I would enjoy it. But I must say I was very much disappointed in the tour overall.

1. Got picked up extremely late to begin with. Was supposed to get picked up at 9am I got picked up at 9:20am.

2. When got to where the jeeps was.. I entered the office the lady in there was very much polite and friendly. But I felt rushed in getting the paperwork done.

3. When we left for the tour.. we was ask to introduce ourselves and what we was celebrating.. the lead tour guide chard (ugly duckling) ignored this one couple who wasn’t celebrating anything. During the tour they spoke about it. (not to him of course)

4. When we got to the chocolate museum chard was the one who walked us over. With his co lead staying back.. which is unprofessional in my opinion. But I guess that’s how they do things. When we got there chard just left us and went on his phone then a few minutes later he got himself a drink and he was completely in his home not caring about anything.

5. Moving forward.. leaving the city… it was a crazy.. the traffic was horrible and Mr ugly duckling didn’t think about pulling over he continued driving with a speed and others was far apart ( if there was a co leader tell yourself you will be lost) at some parts of the tour couldn’t hear him at all.

6. This is what’s upsets me the most.. when we got to the rain forest his co lead try getting the monkeys out..which was a great experience… but while there chard went over to the security booth and had multiple shots of rum.. and when he came back around you can smell it all over him..why tell the guests that we can’t drink but the main lead is drinking. This is not safe at all.

7. He did the same thing at the waterfall..and this time it was even worst.. I’m not sure if he smokes as well..but this young man is not fitting of his role not one bit…he didn’t come to the waterfall his co lead came but I wasn’t a fan of the waterfall so I went back up to the jeeps but it was all locked up. So I was just walking around. He doesn’t take his job seriously I personally believe that is playing with people life’s.

8. Time for lunch. While waiting to get our lunch…chard and his co leader was talking in their own language.. but I happen to in a few things that was being said.. and I’m sorry..why is your staff out in the open speaking about a company that they work for.
Lunch was good overall.

9. Back to the office.. at the end why was I being told to leave a big fat juicy tip..when my life wasn’t safe with a tour guide that has been drinks and smoking?

PS I think this tour could be great but chard in my opinion if not a good fit for this..based on what I saw when I was on the tour..the other tour guide was mostly on his phone not doing much talking. This is code name was (Mr too sweet)

I won’t be recommending this tour to anyone because of my experience this is the worst.. book another tour people.

Absolutely great way to see the island, have a laugh and experience the culture! We did the 4x4 jeep and waterfall ‘free to wander’ trip with Todd “Tout suite/deep pockets” and Chad “Ugly Duckling”. 6 of us spread across a 4 jeep convoy. We felt extremely safe driving on the roads, we were expertly guided by Todd & Chad over the in car radios, where they blocked off exits with front and back jeeps to see us through traffic and we heard great culture and history stories along the way. Nothing felt like a “script” just really natural and they gauged the group well. Stopped at the chocolate museum/shop, saw the “monkey whisperer”, Grand Etang lake, Annandale waterfall, nice lunch in Boca then self drive back to resort through St George’s and more sights. Highly recommend….. from start to finish a superb trip!

We had a great time! This was a lot of fun and took us to many splendid vantage points on the island. We had four guides that were awesome with their knowledge and coordinated traffic negotiations which made the driving experience a lot of fun. “Too Sweet” was the ringleader and he had a well groomed team. Want to give a shout out to Black Rabbit, The Ugly Duckling, and Mr. Handsome, all of whom are part of Too Sweet’s energetic team. Thanks for a great experience!

Horrible and dangerous for many reasons.
1: they started an hour and a half late without notice.
2: we were told that we would have a private vehicle that we would drive. That was not the case. Some in the convoy were given this option and we were not.
3: they presented us with a waiver to sign while on the tour that signed away our rights and would charge us in the event that there was any damage to the vehicles. The driver stated it was for insurance that we would be covered but the waiver has no mention of coverages and states the liability was all on us. The waiver with that much small print should have been sent in advance.
4: we asked to speak with the manger who after listening to what the driver had to say didn’t listen and proceeded to be rude and condescending. Stating if we didn’t want to sign the waiver we could get out the car.
5: a different manager called tried to apologize for the inconveniences after we left the tour. And said we could continue the tour without signing the waiver.
Honestly this occurred on my birthday and last day of my visit to Grenada. It ruined my day and left me with a bad taste.

To say we had a blast with this crew was an understatement! We did the Waterfall Jeep Tour and we had such an amazing time.

The Sun Hunters team first off is incredible at keeping the convoy together and well paced while driving the island. Beyond that, the bits of history and fun along the way while driving made for a great time.

This was the best way to see St. George’s, the rainforest and the stunning views the mountains provide! 100% recco!

Great time touring the island. Chad was a great host — knowledgeable and fun! We bought chocolate and spices, held Mona monkeys and visited the rainforest waterfalls. Jeeps were fun to drive and great way to see the island.

This was a lot of fun navigating the roads of Grenada. Guides were informative of the history of the island. The Jeeps are American style jeeps but driving on the left hand side (when the roads are wide enough). The Grenadian drivers are very polite and try not to get into the caravan.

Fab day out with the Sun Hunters team today. We did the ‘free to wander’ jeep adventure visiting the chocolate factory, meeting the Mona monkeys at Grand Etang and then swimming in the pool of the Annandale waterfall. Great tour guides that meant we felt safe and looked after all of the time.

My husband and I took a half day tour of the island and LOVED it!! Don’t let the driving or honking make you nervous, they are just saying “Hi” down here! The guides kept us entertained on the CB radio in the jeeps with lots of good history. Stopped by the chocolate factory for a quick cocoa production demonstration and purchased our own treats. A quick stop at the bar before the National Park for THE BEST rum punch ever!! Then onto the Grand Etang Lake where we got to pose with a monkey for a photo. There was a little rain, but it did NOT take away from the experience at all. Final stop at the waterfall with a fun restaurant bar tucked in. Food was great! Drinks were too strong for some. We got to swim under the waterfall! Then a fun drive back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

My husband and I did the bareback Jeep Waterfall Adventure. It was absolutely amazing. It was really nice to drive the Jeep ourselves and hear the tour guide's information on 2-way radios. We drove to the house of chocolate, then the rain forest saw some monkeys and finally to the rainfalls where we were able to jump into the water and had a great lunch.
The customer service prior to the adventure was magnificent as well.
A completely pleasant experience from the beginning to the end.
