The church holds services in English at 10.30 on most Sundays from May to September, usually followed by refreshments (a chance to ask locals for tips). The church interior is gorgeous (not surprising it's a popular wedding venue). They also run a good second hand book stall (mainly English) and host concerts. Open during the week at irregular times, it's a quiet spot to visit if you're picking up the ferry from Cadenabbia to Bellagio.

Beautiful building and a returning visit. The regulars had remembered me from visits many years ago which made me feel very welcome. The interior is beautiful and the ferry to Bellagio is just over the road. One Sunday morning service between Easter and October every year. I was only sorry that there was no plaque near the organ or anywhere to remember Janet Anderson who had served the church for many years as organist and organised a vibrant series of recitals using her musical contacts from afar afield as Milan. Hopefully this will be put right soon. The church is welcoming visitors every day

Immediately across the street from the ferry, this is a beautiful, small church. There are many small details and beautiful artistry making this church a must see.

Aktuell müssen die Aushänge beachtet werden, wegen Corona-Krise, sehr zu empfehlen sind ansonsten Konzerte, die ab und zu stattfinden

Como estávamos fazendo a travessia, via Ferry, para Bellagio, não tivemos oportunidade de visitar seu interior, a vimos apenas por fora. Se conseguir aonde estacionar pode ser que seja agradável

Visited the Church of the Ascension whilst on holiday nearby at the Grand Hotel. Enjoyed looking around it and attended a concert by German Torre playing the Harpsichord and the pipe Organ. Excellent evening, thank you.

Belle petite église qui se visite gratuitement et rapidement. SI on est dans le coin, cela vaut le coup d'y passer quelques minutes. Sinon, elle ne nécessite pas de s'arrêter spécifiquement lors de la visite du lac de Côme.

My husband and I had a short visit to this church as it was where my parents renewed their wedding vows a few years before (having honeymooned on Lake Como in 1953!!). The chaplain and his team were in the church and were very welcoming. It is a lovely, peaceful place.

I would like to know if it was possible for my choir from Ireland to put in a performance in your beautiful Church. we plan to visit Lake Como in June 2018. If this was a possibility is there a piano available. Marianne

There is a piano there (upright if my memory is correct). You'd need to contact the clergy there directly to inquire. There is a weekly concert series there in the summer. Acoustics are very nice and the audience usually very enthusiastic.
