This was not something we had on our to-do list, but we had some time and took a drive as far as the road would take us. The beach is amazing and the views are beautiful. Not a lot of people go there so the drive is easy; pack a lunch picnic and you are set. Remember pack in and pack out!

This has to be probably one of the best beaches anywhere!

Went there twice during a trip to MVC at Ko Olina about 20-25 mins away. The first trip was to hike to Ka'ena Point - which was amazing and we saw two Monk Seals :). On the first trip the parking was closed as it was during the week and for some reason C&C has decided for COVID to not open.....there were probably 4 people on the beach and two lifeguards.....so the 6FT social distance was met...LOL

The second trip was the Saturday we left and we spent the entire day there. amazing beach - probably 1.5km long with a steep drop off but great waves and incredibly clear water. While we were there we saw a very large green sea turtle on the beach - nearest to the entrance. I didn't have snorkel and mask with me but I think the snorkeling is likely given the reef that is there.....but the sea bed is very sandy and because of the visibility you can see the reef very easily.

It is very much a locals beach but I would recommend it as a great place to visit

This is one of the prettiest beaches on Oahu, yet few people know about it because it is at the 'end of the road'. The water is the most beautiful turquoise. If you make it this far, be sure to do the hike along the Ka'ena Point Trail. It is very flat and an easy walk, but definitely bring plenty of water, snacks, wear a hat, and decent shoes. And don't forget to bring a camera - you will stop to savor the views all along the drive to Yokohama Bay and all the way hiking to the Point. After your hike, plan to spend the rest of your day on the beach at Yokohama and reward yourself with a swim in the pristine waters.

Beautiful beach at the end of the highway, I visited on a weekday and it was practically empty. The parking lot is closed so I parked on the side of the road. There's also no lifeguard and the shore break was intense. It's am amazing spot for photos, but probably not safe for most swimmers.

The beach was great nice sand good surf but the road getting here was a mess. Driving through Makaha took almost as much time as we spent on the beach.

I spent a few solitary hours on this beach with my book and some snacks. It is a beautiful beach without any nearby traffic noise (like some other beautiful beaches down the road) making it very peaceful. I was alone and felt totally safe, there is a lifeguard and bathrooms. A beautiful slice of paradise!!

We found this beach at the end of the road on the leeward side of the island. The whole area is beautiful with mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. The waves were huge the day we visited and boogie boarders were loving it! It was a bit scary to go swimming but we enjoyed watching the waves and the people playing in them. It was a weekend so there were lots of people, including locals, having picnics and hanging out. The beach is so long we had a decent amount of space to ourselves.

Took a drive up to the end of the road from Ko'Olina and ended up at Yokohama Bay. It is a long, white sandy beach. There are bathrooms and free parking. The waves wee beautiful to watch the day we were there. Hardly anyone there on a Tuesday.

My niece and I stumbled across this beautiful place by accident looking for sea turtles. As began to explore and walk around the beach I stumbled across this little cement cross coming out of the rock. As I stood there I couldn’t help but think about how it got there? How long it has been there? The storms it had weathered and the beauty it had seen. For me me it was a spiritual moment, I was going through a bad break up at the time and that beautiful little cross reminded me of what an amazing world we live in.

カエナポイントの手前にあるビーチ。土日でも空いていて静かなビーチです。夕方になると人通りも少なくなるので、完全に陽が暮れる前に退散しましょう。
