how is it possible that there are so many cats there and no one cares about their health and sterilization, the babies (4 weekes) die in front of tourists. Shame on the facility manager. Sterilization=life. I love lighthouses, I didn't even see this one. the worst place I've ever seen.

Very good view, you have no idea how beautiful SAN vito lo capo is until you go to that side, certainly on the way it is the best landscape in the place

The cat village below is cute, a nice idea. For the rest I didn't enter the lighthouse, it was closed, I don't know if it's always like this or there was another entrance.

Crystal clear sea: sand in front of the town, wonderful pebbles at the Zingaro Reserve. If you want to rest, stay on the large sandy beach and enjoy every moment. If you feel like moving, take an excursion by boat (I recommend contacting Salvo) or by scooter to the Zingaro Reserve.
Select the bars and restaurants where they treat you well and you will have a great time. I recommend the Marghe Rita pizza by the slice and the King's ice cream in the center of San Miguel at all hours. On the second parallel to the West, not far from the pier, you will find bars and pastry shops where quality and kindness abounds.
The beach is not very equipped, but on the other hand it is attached to the town, so for every need you have everything at hand. There is a bit of confusion in the central part, children shouting, adults shouting, in short if you want to relax bring headphones :) but there is a lot of joy and in my opinion it is a beach that remains in the heart. A week is the ideal time to see everything. I don't recommend the West coast: apart from the Bue Marino cove, the other coves didn't make me want to swim and are difficult to reach, with strong sun and kilometers on foot. In August it's hot, but it's always windy, and I didn't use the air conditioning: I had a ventilated and cool apartment.

The lighthouse cannot be visited, it is closed with a gate and owned by the navy, it is nice to go there at sunset! There is a colony of cats with lots of little ones, there is a container to donate food to the colony!

Bring cat food, there's a shelter for cats outside the lighthouse. Nice views around the lighthouse and great for photos, you can even go on the rocks if your balance is good enough

Sono stato al Faro di San Vito lo Capo nel mese di agosto con i miei amici per 5 giorni di relax e divertimento. Location pazzesca , personale giovane ma molto preparato . Esperienza da ripetere sicuramente!!
