I made the Mistake of selling Joe ( owner of Farmers market ) fish and loaning him money. He claimed we were friends. Months later Joe will not answer calls to him or pay off his debts as others he owes money to me have called myself wondering what happened to Joe.

Love that you can buy local fish here. That, plus a variety of vegetables, is giving us great Friday night suppers this summer .

Situated by the harbour, The Meaford Market has much to offer. You can find great deals on locally grown fresh vegetables (both heritage and regular), fruits and meats. There are local entrepreneurs with interesting arts and crafts for sale. You can have a tasty meal prepared by local chefs or take something home to enjoy. Visit booths with delicious baked goods made to tantalize your taste buds. Come on by and be entertained by local musicians while you browse. A great way to spend time on Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm. The Market runs from June to Thanksgiving.

I was very surprised the number of farmers that sell organic vegetables and meat there, in addition to the local vendors and artisans. It's right by the harbour inside the large shelter. There was live music also. Fridays 3 to 7pm in the summer and early fall.

Love the local and organic options provided at this farmer's market.
Located in Meaford's harbour pavilion where farmers and producers are happy to answer any and all questions you may have. Farm to hand service, fresh produce, locally made crafts makes for a great afternoon!

The Meaford Farmers´ Market is a very extraordinary place. There you´ll find all kind of different people which is very cool and interesting. We went there twice during our stay in Meaford. You can get not only food there but they also sell self-made cosmetics, clothes, animals etc. They had live music each time and at the second time we visited there was an artist who did great caricatures. We had great Sushi there and great meat/sausage burgers! Yummy!!
