Hi, I am a certified open water diver and would like to know if I will be able to dive in cenotes with my certification. Thanks!
Hello Fatima, sure you can dive the cenotes with your certification level. As Brinavet mentioned above, there are some cenotes limitations of depth and complexity of the dives. Some of the very cool cenote combinations you can do are Kukulcan/Chac Mool, Ponderosa/Tajmaha and Dos Ojos/Bat Cave.
Of course you can do, as long as you have an open water certification. There are a lot of centotes in Tulum and the difficult change in each location. Ask to the staff and Im sure they will help you.
Have a happy diving!!
Yes!
You will have a great time.
Yes, you can. There will be limitations on which cenotes you can dive as some are too deep for you and some require cave certification. However, they are beautiful and I highly recommend:
*****Taj Majal - light rays, bat cave, woman swimming in rays
@@@@Dream gate - lots of formations
@@@@Dos ojos
******Chac Mool/little brother - air pocket with spiders, no camera, sulfur cloud, awesome stalactites
