I have the same concerns as others. Is there a way to assure I get a new (renovated) room at the back of the hotel? I have asthma so having a clean room is critical. Many people have noted the lack of cleaning. Hopefully this is no longer an issue. Thank you.
Judging from the layers of the dirt in the hotel, I do not think that there is a possibility of getting a clean room. Cleaning must have been neglected for years.
I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the hotel. As one other reply has mentioned contact the hotel direct and speak with Rabi who is the manager and very accommodating. I had no issues during my stay. I was in a suite and the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The boutique hotel itself is modern and fixtures are contemporary. I don't think you will have any issues but do make contact and organise yourself beforehand. Hope you have a nice stay. Regards Anthea
Thank you. I appreciate your replying. Btw, I thought the hotel was a repurposed much older building. Maybe the renovation was completed in 2016 because comments from 2015 say that only some of the rooms were nice and the others were a mess. Thanks for sending a name.
Karen703,
The hotel opened in 2016 as I understand it, so all the rooms are new. If you have a special concern with regard to your asthma, I would simply write an email to the hotel-address it to "Rabie" - he is the front office manager I believe (and I dealt with him directly when I was there). Give him your Name, date of arrival, length of stay and ask him to pre-block your room (with your requirements: for example highest floor possible, quiet are of hotel etc.)
