Yes, they take credit cards; you can walk right into

Saint Elena little town.......they may have an ATM at their

little market.......but I did not see one or use one......hope that helps.

I don't recall an ATM at the hotel, but they took credit cards without a problem. We found that true everywhere we went in Costa Rica. There is a shopping center close by and that likely has an ATM.
