My husband and I recently stayed at Skyline Vista Villas. I had a room with a view of St. Thomas waterfront and Cruise ship Harbor which was breathtaking!
The Hotel is under construction but that does not take away from the room in anyway which was well decorated and modern. The communal kitchen was located right outside our back door & we felt like we were in our own kitchen. There were pots, utensils and anything you needed for preparing or heating your food.
There were ample patio furniture which encouraged you to catch the Sunrise and sunset.
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and cannot wait to return. Until then, we have told others about this great find

Pros: I would give 4 star to this property. The balcony view is stunning! It was one of the best part of my trip.
Customer service is great, staff are so responsive and ready to help.
Cons: the location is shown wrong on the iPhone map, luckily we figure is out before traveling so we could rent a car. If you rely on public transportation it could get expensive. Make sure to check the location on google to get the exact location. Access to the property is only by car, there is no way you can walk there, it’s up the hills.
The cleanness of the property is okay, I could be better but I Lysol sprayed every where and it was fine afterwards. The Wi-Fi is not working well, staff tried to fix it for days but it was not helpful.
Overal I would highly recommend this place because of stunning view, reasonable price and nice staff. Just be aware of cons and you will be fine.

This hotel is not at the location shown online. It is almost all the way to the top of the mountain! DO NOT stay here if you were planning on walking to town as we were.
There are several rooms locked off from a common family room.
It appears clean. Beds look comfortable.
No ammenities in the rooms, nothing nearby. Have to take $10 taxi into town.

This is FRAUD. The location is not as listed in the description of this site. The hotel is terrible. One fork, no bowls. Eat cereal out of a pot. The room is full of roaches. Patio door has one inch gap with no door knob on the outside. During a rain the bedroom floor had water flowing through the gap in the door. Wifi that would not work to watch a movie. Ask any cab driver the location of this hotel and it is next to the island's lookout location. It is not located at 405 Hospital Ground Charlotte Amalie.

Booked through Expedia liking the photos. Nothing like that. Never stayed a place like this before. The great view is a big shared balcony where the floor tiles are cracked and sounds dangerous. You couldn't tell by the posted pictures that it is not a private balcony. Didn't even want to use the bathroom. I should have read reviews more carefully before booking. If the price was budgeted way below $100, this might be acceptable. Two positive things were the person on duty who was very accommodating helping us with the suitcase and the Overlook (public) next to it.
