Hi Cowboy522016, feedback from our guest helps us get better and we do appreciate your comments even if it means we need to improve in some areas. We do occasionally offer specials to help fill in times that are slower but it is true that the specials do not apply to reservations already made. We apologize if that email was confusing and we will look into how they are sent out in the future. We are working to get roads repaired soon and we thank you for your nice comments on the staff, always great to hear that. We hope you will come back and stay with us again.

Hi JoAnn R, thank you so much for this review and we appreciate the good and the not so good. The crazy weather did cause some moss this past week in a few of our ponds, but I will tell you we have in the works the corrections needed to help them rebound and they are just about back to normal. Working with mother nature and ponds is sometimes a tricky balance. We do know that there are some who do not like the fact that you cannot park at the cottages and that is why we offer a concierges service to give you rides to where you need to go. I do hope you were able to use this service but if it failed you I do apologize. There are times we run specials and we all know how nice it is to save a few dollars so we hope that one day you will try us again. We truly appreciate the feedback and this is how we get better as a vacation/glamping resort.

Hi m0mof6children, it is our hope that everyone who comes to the resort has a great experience and enjoys their time glamping, I am sorry you did not. We do have some road repairs that are scheduled and we are working hard to get these done as fast as we can. With the rain does come ants but we do spray a lot for ants, we are sorry you had this problem when you came. We are worried about your comment of the sewer running up hill, this is something we want more information on. We have no way of contacting you to get more information so we would welcome a phone call to see what we can do to fix any issues in the RV spot. We have not had any other complaints on this so we want to make sure we are not missing anything. If you call as for Stacy and she will get this from you. Again we appreciate your feedback and this is how we make our resort better.

Hi Sue, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay at the resort. We do have a shuttle and at check in all guest are to get a shuttle pass with drop off and pick up locations. It is also how our driver knows you are a guest at the resort. Ann has been our driver for over 7 years and she picks up every hour on Thursdays and every 30 minutes on Friday and Saturday (traffic can delay at times). Thursday we did have some issues with our shuttle and repairs that we could not get parts for until Friday. We are so sorry if that caused any inconvenience for you. Normally we have the shuttle all day on Thursday. We do strive to make sure our guests have all the information about the amenities here at the resort and if we missed getting this to you we are sorry. We would love another chance to have you return and stay with us. Feedback such as yours helps us improve our service for our guests. Thank you again.

Good morning, I was wondering I have a small bathroom and bathtub. I also have 2 dachshunds who think they have to sit in the bathroom while I shower, but they are staying with family this trip. Could you tell me more about the bathrooms, mostly do any of you rooms have jacuzzi tubs. Thanks so much Tiiffany
Hi there, well we have several different style cottages and with that the bathrooms are different. We have some larger bathrooms and some smaller ones. We have just a few with bathtubs and we do not have any Jacuzzi tubs. I suggest if you call, ask the representative who is helping you with your reservation for a pet friendly cottage and one with the larger style bathrooms. :)

Is there Wi-Fi available? Are there DVD players in the cottages?
Hi Jennifer, yes we have WI-FI and it is an additional fee of 5.00. We do have DVD players in the cottages and we even have movies to check out for you at the Grand Lodge. :)

Hi There! The website says kitchens come "fully equipped" -- could you give a few details on what this entails? Is there a coffee maker...silverware, cooking utensils, etc? With Thanks!!
Hi Rebecca, yes they all have a full sized refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher :) and plates, cups, mugs, silverware and utensils for cooking. Pot, pans ect. Coffee maker, toaster, knives and cutting boards. Everything but the cook!

Do you provide cable tv
Hi Lmfontno, yes we do. Our cable provider here is East Texas Cable, our only option. I will say that the cable can be at time temperamental. Most of the time we do not have any issues but there are occasions that the picture is fuzzy especially on the higher cable channels. We do have DVDs in all the cottages and we have movies at the Lodges to rent out. Let me know if you have any other questions.
