Nos alojamos del jueves 8/23 al sábado 8/25 durante la amenaza de huracán. Afortunadamente, ¡todo el personal pudo estar trabajando para acomodar a los invitados! Todo el personal fue maravilloso, cortés, cortés, amable y servicial. La habitación era espaciosa, el aparcamiento era fácil (aparcacoches) y las comodidades eran agradables y hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera cómoda. Estábamos a una corta distancia a pie de restaurantes, bares, lugares de música y arte y, por supuesto, de The Beach. Disfrutamos de nuestro tiempo inmensamente gracias al personal, el alojamiento y la ubicación. ¡No podemos esperar a quedarnos otra vez!

El hotel es encantador y acogedor. Genial por el costo. La recepcionista del hotel nos permitió permanecer una hora más, incluso cuando están completos. Muy amable y servicial.

Este hotel tiene características únicas, como muebles antiguos y una bonita decoración. Venía con una nevera y una televisión de pantalla plana. Muy buena ubicación. No usamos el bar ni la piscina, ¡pero se veía realmente bien!

No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente. Increíble ubicación. Hice amistad con todo el personal que me atendió aquí mientras buscaba un departamento permanente. Los camareros eran increíbles. Jacquie, Cillaher, J. P., Mihra, Jule mantuvieron mi habitación super limpia. Alden y Matt en Valet observaron mi transpo y mi bicicleta para asegurarse de que fuera segura. ¡René se hizo cargo de todas mis necesidades mientras yo estaba aquí! El hotel está a una cuadra del puerto de Waikiki, y tiene una ubicación céntrica en Waikiki, así que si esa es la ubicación que desea y está buscando este punto de precio, Paniolo en el Equus podría ser una buena opción. No me quedaría aquí de nuevo, por dos razones: (1) está construido como un motel de la vieja escuela, con habitaciones directamente accesibles desde el exterior, por lo que no tiene la seguridad que prefiero y (2) el vestíbulo está arriba un tramo completo de escaleras, sin opción de ascensor - aparecimos cargando varias maletas pesadas, y no había personal disponible para ayudarnos con las maletas, por lo que la estadía no tuvo un gran comienzo. La habitación en sí estaba bien (ruidoso, pero era el 4 de julio) - - pero buscaría algunas comodidades más si regreso a Honolulu.

Aloha Duncan1789 Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts regarding your most recent stay with us. I just wanted to clarify for anybody reading your review, some of our amenities and what we offer: Again, remembering we are a small (under 70 room) boutique hotel. Our location first of all sets the tone. We are located around some of the biggest name brand hotels and resorts in Waikiki. Guests paying $500/night walk the same roads our guests do to get to Waikiki beach, magic island, Ala Moana mall etc. So right off the bat, staying with us will save you hundreds of dollars if your goal is to enjoy the outside and not stay in the hotel the entire time. Some people do not want to leave the property grounds and if so, I would highly recommend the beach front resorts. We cater to budget savvy guests looking to come back to a nice clean room, with great customer service, after a long and hectic day spent exploring the island. Some of the amenities we offer our guests to try and escape the hustle and bustle of Waikiki is our own coffee shop and cafe which we opened less than a year ago. We also opened our Paniolo Bar which we try and cater to just our guests without drawing attention to street traffic. We have a pool and gazebo area to relax on hot days. We offer beach towels and chairs for the beach, a welcome drink (alcoholic or non alcoholic) for anybody in your party, we have fiber internet connection and unlimited coffee/green tea for your Keurig maker. All rooms have mini refrigerators with freezers and we also have our bell and valet services. I am so sorry that you had to carry your luggage up the stairs. Like you mentioned we do have stairs from the valet to our main lobby. Just to clarify, our rooms are not directly accessible from the outside. You need to climb the stairs to get to our lobby from the valet area. Once you're in the lobby we have an elevator that will take you to your desired floor. We understand that guests have traveled forever just to get here and we really do try to carry every piece of luggage up and down the stairs. I failed to meet your expectations, for that I really am sorry. I would love another opportunity to make it up to you. If you are ever back in Waikiki, please feel free to reach out to me directly at chris@equushotel.com. I'll make it right.. Despite the alternatives you were looking for that we were not able to offer, I do hope that you enjoyed your time here on Oahu. El lugar está bien, pero no mucho más. Lo suficientemente limpia. La persona que me registré y la persona que me marché eran muy agradables. Mis dos principales objeciones eran: 1. Llegué por la noche y nos fuimos a la mañana siguiente. Carga una tarifa de US$ 15 "complejo" porque se puede usar una toalla de playa si queríamos caminar a la playa, y una bebida gratis en el bar (que no estaba abierto a todas las noches que estuve allí) es ridículo. 2. Este hotel no es accesible para personas con minusvalías. El vestíbulo está en la planta 2ª y no hay ascensor para llegar allí. Tienes que subir un tramo de escaleras (y subir el equipaje) para llegar al vestíbulo. Una vez en el vestíbulo, hay un ascensor a las plantas superiores.
En general, estuvo bien para una noche, pero no donde me gustaría elegir para alojarse si tuviera más tiempo o tenían más dinero para gastar.

The goal for our hotel is to provide clean and affordable rooms to budget savvy travelers while offering friendly, knowledgeable, and hospitable service. We feel that you should enjoy the all day hustle and bustle of Waikiki, then come back to a nice and quiet relaxing atmosphere custom designed to make you feel like your in old school Hawaii. Our hotel has been family owned for over 40 years. We are one of the very last family owned properties in Waikiki as well. When the Hotel was built, it was erected with the steps leading to the lobby to deter foot traffic from coming in and out as we are on Ala Moana blvd just 2 blocks from the beach and now the worlds largest outdoor mall. We wanted to be tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. Our property is not handicap accessible and have been grandfathered in by the city to remain as we were built. Regarding our resort fee, it includes wifi, guest only access to our pool, beach towels and chairs, unlimited coffee/green tea for your Keurig coffee maker in the room, and welcome drinks. I do want to apologize about you having to carry your luggage up the stairs. We know that our guests have traveled a long way to get here and it is our responsibility to carry our guests luggage up and down the stairs.
