Hi,

   I am currently in Costa Rica and my atm card isn´t working at the local banks in the Playa Flamingo area - it has the plus logo, but is not a Visa or Mastercard. My husband is arriving here in a few days, and I´m trying to figure out how much cash he will need to bring in case I am unable to find an atm where our card will work. My question is whether there are many affordable (under $10 per person for lunch and $15 per person for dinner) restaurants in the areas that we will be staying that accept credit cards. We´ll be in Playa Hermosa/Playa Grande, La Fortuna and Manuel Antonio. I know some of the smaller sodas will probably only take cash, but are there any options where we can use credit cards? We prefer good local places to tourist traps.

  My second question is if anyone is able to give directions to the HSBC bank in Liberia? The address is listed as ¨125 meters oeste del Parque¨, but I can´t find a good street map online. If anyone knows any other international banks in the area, please let me know...
