We really don't have mini bar or refrigerator in the rooms as well as ventilator/fen, we have aircondition and this is enlisted, together with all other room amenities, at every online travel agency we are on. Rooms are cleaned each morning, after the guests leave the room, and during it we change/refill what is needed. Nevertheless it can happen that soap, shampoo…..run out in case if guests stay a couple days and regularly doesn't leave their rooms till late afternoon, or take their room keys with them, so the cleaning staff can't enter the room to clean it up. That's why front desk, 24/7, have a keys from toiletries storage in case some guests need something.
We had a situation similar to this one at the end of November last year. Guest stayed for a couple days, as a larger group members, and everithing was fine till last night. This guest were out and came back late, about one hour after midnight, celebrating Argentina win the Davis cup. Noisy, visibly intoxicated and rude, this guest (only one) start to demand a cool drink from closed caffe bar. After we refuse to open it for him (we are not allowed after working hours) it all started. Demands for drink, soap, shampoo………all at once. Not accepting any explanation nor delay, spiced with a language barrier, we could not cope with the frustration so we just endured inappropriaete behavior and let him to cool down. Second conversation, next morning, was held in a more normal tone. Next one, afternoon, too. Guest depart and this was finished, till this review we simply had to respond on. Mostly because what is written here is not accurate and does not mach to the real situation as evidenced by the opinions of other guests.
Of course, we still have a lot to fix and we are not runing away from it.
Probably we could react better in this situation too, we are sorry that we did not, and we apologize for our part to this gentleman, and his wife too, and the to the other guests who had to witness this event, and you who are reading about this.
Regards,
