Thank you for your review. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. We have researched your claims, reviewed security footage and what we have found does not match your claims. Let us begin with the facts. You had a reservation which you made through an online portal. You made this reservation for 2 adults and 2 children. When you arrived you had 4 children, therefore, your party was 6 people which is over the allowed limit in the room type you reserved. You were informed of this and you requested a second room. As this was a Friday night during peak season, we were sold out and unable to get you another room. Our desk clerk informed you that we would be happy to cancel your room her room, however, you would be charged as this was past cancellation. At this time our footage showed that you started yelling at our desk clerk. Our desk clerk was simply explaining facts. We are sorry that you felt she was rude. However, when one gets yelled at and threatened by a guest, it does make for a difficult situation. You did leave and then come back demanding the keys for your room. Our desk clerk did ask if you were going to stay as you left so she was unsure of your intentions. We tried to accommodate you to the best of our ability even though your reservation changed upon arrival.
In regards to your statement that we are over priced; Our rates are reflective and are comparable to the market we are in. Rates are quoted at the time of making your reservation and if you felt that they were too high, you had the choice at that time to not book at the quoted rate.
To our future guests, please overlook this review. This is not true to the experience you will receive at our hotel. If you were to read the other reviews you will see that we have an exceptionally high review rate. We are very proud of our customer service and our team goes above and beyond for our guests.
