We are currently in the 3rd day of our stay on the Ray side of the duplex & couldn’t be happier. The house sits slightly above the beach but 10’ out the back French doors & down 6 steps & your there. Water is beautiful Caribbean blue. The waves are small enough to enjoy beach but big enough to hear while sleeping with doors closed. My wife & I just got back from our own boat trip around the cays, ending with an awesome lunch @ Lumina Point on Stocking Island. We went to most beautiful sand bar in middle of ocean, did some great snorkeling, swam with sea turtles, fed the stingrays & ended with lunch. Highly recommend a boat tour, can’t complete your trip without it:). Talk to Elvis next to the yacht club in Georgetown. He has several boats & he’ll have one of his guys take you around. Our personal tour guide was Darren. Very nice local young man from Rolltown, I believe. You won’t be disappointed, it was the highlight of our trip so far.
RayAnns has everything you need though, towels, soaps, dishes. Mildred even buys you a complimentary loaf of bread & leaves you a cell phone for local calls. She is a great host & maintains a great quality of cleanliness in these units. Only caveat may be going up the stairs to the bedrooms for some older guests. She tells us the island has unstable power & has had power outages in the past. We have not experienced this but she has left May battery powered lights just in case. We rented a car & she had it waiting @ the unit when we arrived. She also arranged for taxi to pick us up @ airport & met us @ unit to go over everything & answer any questions we may have. Found out later that our tour guide Darren was a student of hers years earlier:). Definitely a great place to stay & a great value for the money. Thanks Mildred!
