Such a lovely place to stay and visit around that area.We enjoyed our stay at Windermere,there's plenty to do with the kids .
Definitely need to come back in spring or summer for another trip.

Great base
Caravan was a fantastic base for exploring the Lake District. It had everything we needed and was clean upon arrival. WiFi didn’t work but this was a park issue. Owner was great to deal with and we would definitely try to book again next time we are in the area.

GEM of a place
Fantastic holiday with the kids - I would also re-book to go with my partner on our own. The caravan is beautiful inside and out - great seating area outside and would highly recommend. We did notwant to come home. To the left of main reception is Ambleside and to the right is Bowness etc - We made the most of the local amenities and went kayaking/clay pigeon shooting etc - we eat at both the onsite restaurant and local restaurants and can honestly say it exceeded our expectations. If you have kids i would highly recommend going to GO APE approx 8 miles away but Brockhole just down the road was just as good. There are local Tesco express/Sainsbury's stores but you need a car and i visited Kendal to do a main shop and the scenery on the way took my breath away. Get booking guys.

Fantastic accommodation, would highly recommend this family and friends.
Had a fantastic 3 night stay at Whitecross Bay, in a spacious caravan with great amenities.
The caravan was exactly what our family needed, a bedroom each for the 2 kids, double room for us, fully equipped kitchen and spacious lounge. On arrival the site staff were very helpful in helping us settle in and showing us to our caravan.
The onsite pub was comfy and the food was good quality. There was plenty of choice for my wife and I and the kids enjoyed their dinner out. There was plenty to keep the kids occupied, onsite park, football pitch and swimming pool. They made friends with others onsite and are looking forward to going back.
This site is close to the towns of Ambleside and Bowness on Windemere, where we found plenty to do and great pubs for our weekend away.
Would book this caravan again.

Excellent accommodation
We have just returned from staying at 7 Troutbeck, White Cross Bay for three nights. It was very easy and quick to book with the owner responding almost immediately to questions. The lodge/caravan was lovely and comfortable, and absolutely spotless. It is a proper home from home and I would definitely recommend a stay. It is a very generous size and more of a lodge than a static caravan. The site itself is excellent and even though we went in low season there were plenty of people around. There is all you could wish for including lovely pool with sauna, gym etc. The whole site is dog friendly which is fantastic even in the restaurant which we ate in regularly. The prices are very reasonable and they do a lovely breakfast as well. The site is also in a great spot to access all the lovely villages close by. I would definitely book this property again, we really enjoyed it!!!

Gold found at White Cross Bay.
This dog friendly caravan is truly worthy of its Certificate of Excellence award . Great location, very clean and well equipped. Parking at the side of the cottage for two cars and WiFi also available. Public transport is available within a very short walking distance of White Cross Bay Park , which will take you to all parts of the Lake District. I fully recommend this accommodation for that holiday in the Lake District.

Not much to say other than this holiday being just what the doctor ordered. Caravan was as good and better than expected, although slightly smaller space levels in the bedrooms than ive previously experienced (albeit still very manoeverable with plenty of storage spaces as well as tv and facilities in the double) the living area and kitchen however benefited from this perhaps because they were huge and very comfortable. Besides that the only issue we had was that the kettle leaked a little. Other than this, would wholly recommend this lodging, neighbours aren't too close, very secluded, quiet, extremely well kitted out and with a lovely walk through a mini forest through to the private marina I couldn't think of anything more we needed other than maybe another week! Thank you to Paul and Kim for operating a grand little gem. 5/5

Great location
Perfectly located from where to access various places. The caravan is sited in a quiet part of the park. Disappointed that you have to pay an additional £15 to access the gym and pool. Not informed of this until the day before departure 😕 Had to wait 40 minutes after check in time due to the cleaner still cleaning and then it wasn't the best. Generally the caravan is well equipped and well presented. Beds are extremely comfortable and is perfect for those wanting self catering accommodation in the lakes.

Accommodation was first class.
The site was kept in very good order throughout and very handy for Windemere and surrounding towns. The play area was great for my great grand daughter and the amenities for us was very good. It was very handy for a trip to the safari park zoo at Dalton, which we greatly enjoyed.
