Classic building in the very center of Lucca. Top ...
Classic building in the very center of Lucca. Top floor and a few steps to take you there but it's worth it! Furnishings range very nice. Views are spectacular! Reminds you why you chose this spot. Very airy living/dining area. Bedroom adequate. Felt better than hotel stay for our 6 days we spent there. Great to be steps away from the action but also above the crowds when you want.

We loved the apartment which had everything we nee...
We loved the apartment which had everything we needed and more and was very stylish unlike a lot of rentals - it looked just like the picture !
The air con was great and was needed as we were there during the heatwave
We love Lucca and enjoyed the location being so close to the wall and use of the bikes was a bonus
The only disappointment was that we couldn’t use the lovely terrace in the daytime as it was just too hot and there was no shade or umbrella, we questioned this at check in and we’re told it wasn’t possible because of being on the 5th floor so this was a shame as we had hoped to spend afternoons relaxing out there - however we were in extreme temperatures !
We hope to return in the Autumn and would love to stay at the same apartment again

Enjoyed our time so much in Lucca and this apartment was the perfect place to end each day. Spacious, relaxing, and even though it rained quite a bit while we were there - we still were able to enjoy the lovely rooftop patio. The neighborhood is quiet but also walkable to the historic center, shops, and restaurants.

Having 2 bathrooms was super convenient and the little room behind the master bedroom for the laundry was a great asset. Kitchen was well stocked and bed was comfortable. Make sure you can do stairs as this is located on the top floor of the bldg.
I have no improvements to recommend. It was just super.

Everything was perfect and I have no criticism at all,one observation though would be that possibly the Terrace may need a little refurbishment and cleaning.
Overall though we very much enjoyed our stay.

Communication with the apartment manager before an...
Communication with the apartment manager before and during our stay was great. The apartment was beautifully appointed and very spacious. It felt like home! It was great having the 2 bathrooms and the beautiful terrace was a wonderful spot to relax with a glass of wine in the evenings!! The kitchen was well equipped for the little bit of cooking that we did during our stay. Very nice to have a washer/dryer in the apartment, as well as a large closet space. The location was less than a 15 minute walk from the train station and was situated on a quiet street very close to a wall access point. A short walk to many restaurants, shopping and points of interest. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to family and friends.

Great location, decor, etc. Just a few things that need to be added to make it perfect: oven instructions, oven mitt, coasters for tables, lighter for candles on terrace, newer towels, spare toilet paper and a few basics in the kitchen like salt, pepper & oil.
The information booklet was very helpful!

A cleverly converted apartment with a very private and beautiful terrace. Comfortable bed. Not for people who can’t do stairs but the climb to the apartment is perfect for those who want quiet and privacy. Conveniently located within the walls / great access to the walk around the walls and close to all the amenities. An absolutely perfect holiday stay
The sink tap in the kitchen needs to be secured

The apartment was lovely, well located and as described in the photos.
I would only suggest that the host provide paper towels or kitchen wipes to make it easier to keep the kitchen clean. There were no dining napkins neither paper nor cloth. The grey bath mats needed laundering and lighting above the stove and one sconce had burned out bulbs. The floor was damaged by previous guests near the coach - water stain plus deep gouges.
