From the time we booked our stay the owner Rick was in constant contact with us answering all of our questions. He was more than helpful. The house was over the top immaculate and stocked with everything we needed. The view is breathtaking! Blue Hues is true paradise! We will be back and the only thing we would change, is we will be staying longer then 7 days next time!

This what our 6th to Exuma and this was the best house we’ve stayed at. It was perfect for our family of 4. The view is amazing. The property is beautiful. The pool was a favorite for the kids. The beach is private and calm and pristine. The house is centrally located on the island and close to restaurants and grocery stores. The owner went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We highly recommend this house and we look forward to our next stay at Blue Hues!!

This was our third trip to Exuma, and by far our best. Blue Hues has perfect location to get to all points on the island. The property is meticulously kept..,every square inch of the full acre is landscaped! Great snorkeling right off the beach and even better snorkeling if you take the kayaks a little farther out. Rick, the owner, is the most responsive and thorough owner I’ve worked with.
For my two boys (13 and 16), my wife and me, we couldn’t have picked. A better, cleaner, more perfectly located spot in Exuma. We will be back for sure!!

Great well kept house in a good location in the Bahamas. Easy access to the ocean and beautiful area of the ocean that’s fun to snorkel and rest. Would def come again!

From the moment we walked in and said "WOW" when looking out the living room window to the very last minute we throughly enjoyed our time at Blue Hues! The kitchen has everything you need and more, the beds are comfortable, the pool is perfection, and we appreciated all the beach equipment which made it easier for us to pack light knowing we didn't need to bring extra gear. The private beach was icing on the cake. Being able to explore beautiful Hoopers Bay by snorkel or kayak was so much fun! There is absolutely nothing we would have changed about the house, and we can't want to come back again. Thank you Rick for allowing us to use your home, and for the great suggestions in your welcome book on places to go and people to contact. You helped make our week one that will be hard to top.

My husband and I have visited Exuma many times. We brought our family on this trip. Rick has the most beautiful and well maintained place. We stayed in the main house plus the guest house since we needed the space. Everyone was very comfortable. We loved being so close to the beach that was within walking distance. We used the pool almost every day. The kids especially loved it.
The rentals were well stocked with everything we needed from cooking supplies to poll floats and kayaks.
The location is perfect and has the ultimate view! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and plan to stay at Blu Hues again.

I rented Rick and Jodi’s house with a girlfriend to celebrate her 50th with a week of relaxation. This beautiful home on a private beach with crystal clear water and white sand provided exactly that! The house was spotless and provided everything we needed, from cooking supplies to an entire garage full of beach equipment. The house is perched just up a walkway from the white-sand beach that’s easily accessible. There’s a small coral reef a short swim off shore that we explored daily—saw lion fish, sea stars, anemones, turtles and a rainbow of tropical fish. Rick was always available for questions and recommendations and navigating the home was easy with clear instructions everywhere. We rented a boat with Off Island Boat Tours and Captain Chris was the best. We also had excellent deep-tissue massages from Rick’s recommended massage therapist. I can honestly say this was the best vacation I’ve had yet and my friend and I are both going back with our families and renting Rick’s house again!

This was my family’s second time staying at Blue Hues and we love it! The house is clean, laid out well, and the host goes out of their way to make sure every little detail has been taken care of so your vacation runs smoothly and is enjoyable. From the well stocked kitchen, backup generator and too many other amenities to mention, the owner has thought of everything. The pictures don’t do it justice. The icing on the cake is the expansive property, with spacious deck, private pool, and the most amazing views with access to the community’s private beach. Truly a nature lovers dream. If you like private, this is your place. Utterly stunning!

Where do I begin? I can't speak enough praises for this property and the owners. Rick was attentive from the moment I clicked the "reserve" button for his property. He is extremely responsive and informative. There were no details missed. I texted him while down there to ask if there was a way to turn the water pressure down (it was painful on my sunburn), and he said there wasn't. I then got a text saying that he went out to buy a water pressure regulator for the master shower based off my text! Rick is a wealth of knowledge about Exuma and offered up wonderful suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Sugar Adventure Tours is a must! Captain Sugar is an amazing person and took good care of us. My mom had difficulty getting into the boat for our 1/2 day tour, so the next day (when he took us out fishing), he put the boat in the creek (shallow and a huge risk to his equipment) to make it easier for my mom to get in.
The description of this property does not do it justice. This place is indescribable. You have to experience it for yourself to understand how truly magical this property is! The grounds are beautiful and meticulously kept. There are cool pathways that weave throughout the property for you to explore the flowers and other vegetation.
I could write pages about how wonderful our experience was, but if you're planning on visiting Exuma, Blue Hues is THE place to stay!! We can't wait to go back!!

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Hues. The property location was amazing and the house did not disappoint. There was a book on property that detailed everything we needed to know about this lovely home and helpful hints on local places to visit. The views were beyond amazing and although there were other houses in the neighborhood we had the beach to ourselves everyday. We traveled the island to view other beaches but in the end paradise was in our back yard. Definitely would recommend this beautiful home for your next vacation destination.
